My favorite things to do outside of work?
I am a runner at heart, sometimes I run fast and sometimes slow depending on the distance and motivation level. My recent fun runs have included the New York City Marathon and the Disney World Wine and Dine Half Marathon. I also enjoy cupcakes, ice cream, donuts, coffee and wine hence the balanced passion with running. Plus keeping up with the characters on Disney Junior and the useful engines of Thomas and his Friends on Sodor Island.
Sometimes I actually get some real work done too. Enjoy.

9. Awesome day of off site "Customer Connection" training at the Amazon Customer
Service site in Winchester, Kentucky. The best part of listening in on calls was the
exchange of the associate helping an elderly man through account set up and making his
first online purchase of anything ever. This was after a friendly exchange of trust and
confidence building that even if his computer had a virus that his credit card would be
safe. The 20 minute call and the joy in this customers voice and his shock of expected
delivery speed totally made my day.
I organized this training for my team to connect our data to customer anecdotes to
improve the Amazon Customer Returns process. 2014
22. I ran the NYC Marathon in 2016 and had an amazing opportunity to meet an iconic woman. Kathrine
Switzer was the first registered woman to run the male only Boston Marathon in 1967 (she registered with
her initials) and was famously attempted to be stripped of her bib by the race director during the race.
