Letter of recommendation for Lisa Boulton
I have known Lisa Boulton for approximately two years following her
partipation in the Craft of Use Symposium at the University of Arts
London (UAL), UK after submitting her project for inclusion in the show
in the Spring of 2014.
Her project was selected for its design intelligence and breadth of
thinking. The jury panel acknowledged the work, effort and originality in
presenting the prototypes as prompts and visual reference to develop
dialogue and ideas further.
Lisa presented her process and live prototyped her design amongst a
collection of symposium academics which collected from around the
world. She was able to engage those from a broad range of background
in a critical discourse around innovation in sustainability and new
constructions.
In subsequent conversations with Lisa, it has become apparent to me
that she has a facility to work with people, take on new technological
applications and find underlying systems through exhaustive divergent
thinking.
I recommend her to you wholeheartedly.
