1. DEVELOPING COACHES (LEARNING TO BE A COACH)
Leader Coach Development Programs
What does it really mean to be a Leader Coach? What is the difference between
being a Leader Coach versus an independent coach? How do Leader Coaches
develop high performing teams? What do the best-in-class Leader Coaches do that
make them so successful? These are just some of the questions we explore in the
development program. As well as learning the fundamentals of what it means to be
a Leader Coach, participants will also learn of advanced techniques that can enhance
the Leader Coach’s repertoire.
This program is a 22-day, face-to-face residential program spread out over two
modules. In between the modules, participants will engage in 13 hours of virtual
learning and 25 hours of supervision coaching. All participants will be awarded a
Thunderbird certificate of participation with the option of completing the ICF ACC
certification.
The residential program consists of:
Alumni benefits: 1 year access to our online library of research papers and
webinars. Alumni may attend 1 research event, of their choice, in the year following
graduation for free.
Leadership development is a constant need in professional settings and
coaching is increasingly recognized as one of the most productive and
positive ways to develop quality leaders. Thunderbird offers a global
program to meet this need.
Coaching means partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative
process that inspires participants to maximize their personal and professional
potential. Coaches honor the client as the expert in his or her life and work
and believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole. The Global
Institute of Coaching is there to enable leaders to develop, explore, define,
network and push the frontiers of this proficiency.
