Most Learning-Focused Public Elementary School (Medium Category)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Old Nongnongan Elementary School serves excellence, quality, and dedication to the community of
the Municipality of Don Carlos, Bukidnon. In this rural area, where learners are children of farmers, education is made
accessible for all.
However, the teaching – learning process was challenged, from face- to- face to distance learning
modality. Most of the areas in this municipality have no internet connection and signal for mobile phones. Therefore,
the implementation of distance learning has become a struggle. But the teachers’ hearts are into teaching, with strong
advocacy and unwavering support of the stakeholders, distance learning was fully implemented and access to basic
education is strongly evident.
The school is one of the most learning-focused public schools in Bukidnon. It is one of the recipients
of the GEBS, which is television. It is the school in the district III as the center of benchmarking. With an outstanding,
indestructible leadership shared with the supportive and collaborative stakeholders, it is recognized with remarkably
outstanding awards in the district level.
SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENT/S IN FOSTERING LEARNING WITHIN THE LAST TWO YEARS
Dedication and teamwork have been the core of Old Nongnongan Elementary School. For the last 2
years these are outstanding accomplishments of the teachers and the administration of the school:

This program was created by the
school and was spearheaded by
school head to insure the cleanliness
of the school even in pandemic
times.
The school received a set of
television as one of the GEBS
COMPLIANT from the Division.

All classroom put up the gender
comfort rooms with 5 classrooms
among 11 classrooms having 3
comfort rooms and 6 have 2 comfort
rooms. Each classroom has its own
handwashing area place at the front.
The implementation has the great
impact to the increase of learners’
participation.

And BASA ONES Using Think Pair
Share
The school advocates the Bawat
Batang Bukidnon Bumabasa which is
“Basa ONES”.
The set-up of the Filipino and English
Park to cater the learners need to
enhance reading ability.
In using think-pair-share strategy,
the parent will get the reading
materials in modular distance
learning then find the member of the
family which capable in reading
ability either ate or kuya of the
learner. Then they are going to think-
and share about the topic given by
the teacher.
The implementation was effective
from frustration to independent
level of reading by assessment from
PHIL-IRI RESULT.

The school is known as an awardee
in the Division level.
The school sustain the SBM LEVEL 2
and a Regional Awardee.
Radio- Based Learning Instruction
“ Edukasyon sa Kahanginan, Tingog
sa Kabataan” or Paminaw kamo sa
Magtutudlo Program.
The school advocates the distance
learning as the radio based was
adapted from the district.
The learning participation rate
increases as a result of no dropped
out during pandemic.
IMPACT OF THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN MAKING LEARNING HAPPEN
The benefits of the learners should be placed as the top priority of the school. Therefore, programs
and activities should be focused on the improvement of the quality of education. The accomplishment of the school
had been exemplary and notable. Here are the most remarkable results of the schools outstanding accomplishments:

This project reaches 100% percent
implemented in school level during
pandemic to ensure the health and
safety of the teachers, learners, and
parents. They are very much
comfortable to come in and out the
school in getting and retrieving
modules.
All learners, teachers, parents, and
stakeholders are benefited on this
program for they are proud and
honored that the school is always
clean and safe especially in
pandemic season.

This project has great impact of
every classroom for there is an
increase of key performance
indicators, increasing the learners
scores in CMSS every quarter. This is
due to the factor of conducive
learning environment.
We have 282 learners and 12
teachers are benefitted and
facilitated on this project.

Share Strategy
This project applied school and
home level of practice for those
leaners identified as frustration level
of reading proficiency in the conduct
of Pre-test of PHILIRI.
Learners identified as frustration
readers in grade 4 we have 16
recipients in English and 17
recipients in Filipino. For grade 5 we
have 11 for English and 6 for Filipino.
For grade 6 we have 2 for English.

The school is an implementor of this
program for the fact that it’s an
outstanding awardee in the district
level.
The performance of the school,
teachers, and learners are very
much benefited on this program in
terms of net enrollment increase
and other key performance
indicators. As a matter of fact,
school head was promoted to head
teacher 2, two teachers promoted
to teacher 3 and one teacher
promoted to teacher 2 for the
school year 2021-2022 due to this
exemplary performance of the
school specifically the physical
facilities of the school.
Radio- Based Learning Instruction
“ Edukasyon sa Kahanginan, Tingog
sa Kabataan” or Paminaw kamo sa
Magtutudlo Program.
Participation rate and survival rate
are 100% due to this program. Drop
out rate is 0% percent and
completion rate are 100%.
The learners will learn through
distance learning using radio which
has no phones and radio is available.
The learners on purok 7 are
benefited. Teachers also are
benefited in using this program in
terms of information technology and
language fluency.

The graphs show the significant improvement in the School Key Performance Indicators. This is due to the
different programs and activities implemented by the school. The teacher’s initiative and resourcefulness led to the
creation of different programs and activities that will led the learners stay in school even at the time of the
pandemic. Stakeholders had contributed their share of strong support and collaborate with the school’s programs
for the welfare not only of the learners but mentors, the parents, and the community.

The program is established whole
year round. School head, teachers,
parents, learners and stakeholders
were covered in this program. It is a
supplemental program in GEBS
implementation in which children
and teacher raise one piso a day in
cleaning the school ground and
school perimeter.
There is a good value develop by the
learners for they learned on how to
be thrifty in order to maintain the
cleanliness of the school. As a
matter of there is an increase of
performance in CMSS Edukasyon sa
Pagpakatao in grade 4,5 and 6 in
every quarter.

This program implies the corporate
twenty first learning environment
base on the International Standard
Operation or ISO certified in terms
of learning facilities and information
corner.
Reading area, Health and Safety
protocol, rest area, WINS standards,
DRRM information, information
technology corner is being
evaluated with the result of all
teachers are awarded as GEBC
implementor, one teacher awarded
as most outstanding in GEBC
implementation district level. It is a
remarkable impact of the school
because there is an increase of
periodical scores in CMSS result in
every learning area.

Learners identifies as frustration
level of reading proficiency both
English and Filipino are required to
attain the video k challenge every 3
o’clock in the afternoon Monday to
Friday and learners in modular
distance learning modality will use
the BASA ONES.
There is a decrease number of
learner’s frustration level, increase
of instructional level and increase of
independent level base on the
PHILIRI post-test result school year
2021-2022.

Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Curriculum and Instructions (SAFE-CI) Most Learning-Focused Public Elementary School (Medium Category) EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Old Nongnongan Elementary School serves excellence, quality, and dedication to the community of the Municipality of Don Carlos, Bukidnon. In this rural area, where learners are children of farmers, education is made accessible for all. However, the teaching – learning process was challenged, from face- to- face to distance learning modality. Most of the areas in this municipality have no internet connection and signal for mobile phones. Therefore, the implementation of distance learning has become a struggle. But the teachers’ hearts are into teaching, with strong advocacy and unwavering support of the stakeholders, distance learning was fully implemented and access to basic education is strongly evident. The school is one of the most learning-focused public schools in Bukidnon. It is one of the recipients of the GEBS, which is television. It is the school in the district III as the center of benchmarking. With an outstanding, indestructible leadership shared with the supportive and collaborative stakeholders, it is recognized with remarkably outstanding awards in the district level. SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENT/S IN FOSTERING LEARNING WITHIN THE LAST TWO YEARS Dedication and teamwork have been the core of Old Nongnongan Elementary School. For the last 2 years these are outstanding accomplishments of the teachers and the administration of the school: Project/Work Accomplished Strategies and Activities Impact on the School Performance Project LINIS L-EARNERS I-NIATIVE FOR N-EATNESS I-NSIDE THE S-CHOOL This program was created by the school and was spearheaded by school head to insure the cleanliness of the school even in pandemic times. The school received a set of television as one of the GEBS COMPLIANT from the Division. Project GEBC G-OOD E-DUCATION IN B-EAUTIFUL C-LASSROOM All classroom put up the gender comfort rooms with 5 classrooms among 11 classrooms having 3 comfort rooms and 6 have 2 comfort rooms. Each classroom has its own handwashing area place at the front. The implementation has the great impact to the increase of learners’ participation. Project KASIBI Kanta sa Sinubuanong Binisaya And BASA ONES Using Think Pair Share The school advocates the Bawat Batang Bukidnon Bumabasa which is “Basa ONES”. The set-up of the Filipino and English Park to cater the learners need to enhance reading ability. In using think-pair-share strategy, the parent will get the reading materials in modular distance learning then find the member of the family which capable in reading ability either ate or kuya of the learner. Then they are going to think- and share about the topic given by the teacher. The implementation was effective from frustration to independent level of reading by assessment from PHIL-IRI RESULT.
  • 2. Project GEBS G-OOD E-DUCATION IN B-EAUTIFUL S-CHOOL The school is known as an awardee in the Division level. The school sustain the SBM LEVEL 2 and a Regional Awardee. Radio- Based Learning Instruction “ Edukasyon sa Kahanginan, Tingog sa Kabataan” or Paminaw kamo sa Magtutudlo Program. The school advocates the distance learning as the radio based was adapted from the district. The learning participation rate increases as a result of no dropped out during pandemic. IMPACT OF THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN MAKING LEARNING HAPPEN The benefits of the learners should be placed as the top priority of the school. Therefore, programs and activities should be focused on the improvement of the quality of education. The accomplishment of the school had been exemplary and notable. Here are the most remarkable results of the schools outstanding accomplishments: Replicability of the Program/ Activity Level of Attainment Number of People, Official benefitted and transaction facilitated. Project LINIS L-EARNERS I-NIATIVE FOR N-EATNESS I-NSIDE THE S-CHOOL This project reaches 100% percent implemented in school level during pandemic to ensure the health and safety of the teachers, learners, and parents. They are very much comfortable to come in and out the school in getting and retrieving modules. All learners, teachers, parents, and stakeholders are benefited on this program for they are proud and honored that the school is always clean and safe especially in pandemic season. Project GEBC G-OOD E-DUCATION IN B-EAUTIFUL C-LASSROOM This project has great impact of every classroom for there is an increase of key performance indicators, increasing the learners scores in CMSS every quarter. This is due to the factor of conducive learning environment. We have 282 learners and 12 teachers are benefitted and facilitated on this project. Project KASIBI Kanta sa Sinubuanong Binisaya And Basa ONES using Think Pair Share Strategy This project applied school and home level of practice for those leaners identified as frustration level of reading proficiency in the conduct of Pre-test of PHILIRI. Learners identified as frustration readers in grade 4 we have 16 recipients in English and 17 recipients in Filipino. For grade 5 we have 11 for English and 6 for Filipino. For grade 6 we have 2 for English. Project GEBS G-OOD E-DUCATION IN B-EAUTIFUL S-CHOOL The school is an implementor of this program for the fact that it’s an outstanding awardee in the district level. The performance of the school, teachers, and learners are very much benefited on this program in terms of net enrollment increase and other key performance indicators. As a matter of fact, school head was promoted to head teacher 2, two teachers promoted to teacher 3 and one teacher promoted to teacher 2 for the school year 2021-2022 due to this exemplary performance of the
  • 3. school specifically the physical facilities of the school. Radio- Based Learning Instruction “ Edukasyon sa Kahanginan, Tingog sa Kabataan” or Paminaw kamo sa Magtutudlo Program. Participation rate and survival rate are 100% due to this program. Drop out rate is 0% percent and completion rate are 100%. The learners will learn through distance learning using radio which has no phones and radio is available. The learners on purok 7 are benefited. Teachers also are benefited in using this program in terms of information technology and language fluency.

This is due to the different programs and activities implemented by the school. The teacher’s initiative and resourcefulness led to the creation of different programs and activities that will led the learners stay in school even at the time of the pandemic. Stakeholders had contributed their share of strong support and collaborate with the school’s programs for the welfare not only of the learners but mentors, the parents, and the community.

School head, teachers, parents, learners and stakeholders were covered in this program. It is a supplemental program in GEBS implementation in which children and teacher raise one piso a day in cleaning the school ground and school perimeter. There is a good value develop by the learners for they learned on how to be thrifty in order to maintain the cleanliness of the school. As a matter of there is an increase of performance in CMSS Edukasyon sa Pagpakatao in grade 4,5 and 6 in every quarter. Project GEBC G-OOD E-DUCATION IN B-EAUTIFUL C-LASSROOM This program implies the corporate twenty first learning environment base on the International Standard Operation or ISO certified in terms of learning facilities and information corner. Reading area, Health and Safety protocol, rest area, WINS standards, DRRM information, information technology corner is being evaluated with the result of all teachers are awarded as GEBC implementor, one teacher awarded as most outstanding in GEBC implementation district level. It is a remarkable impact of the school because there is an increase of periodical scores in CMSS result in every learning area. Project KASIBI Kanta sa Sinubuanong Binisaya and BASA ONES using THINK-PAIR- SHARE strategy. Learners identifies as frustration level of reading proficiency both English and Filipino are required to attain the video k challenge every 3 o’clock in the afternoon Monday to Friday and learners in modular distance learning modality will use the BASA ONES. There is a decrease number of learner’s frustration level, increase of instructional level and increase of independent level base on the PHILIRI post-test result school year 2021-2022. Project GEBS G-OOD E-DUCATION IN B-EAUTIFUL S-CHOOL Deped quality standards believes that good education in beautiful school implies the learners and parent to enroll in a particular school. Parent, Teachers, Learners and stakeholders spearheaded by the school head hand in hand during the implementation for there is an increase of enrollment rate for the school year 2021-2022. Radio- Based Learning Instruction “ Edukasyon sa Kahanginan, Tingog sa Kabataan” or Paminaw kamo sa Magtutudlo Program. Learners with no internet connection in their home only radio are available will be the recipient of this program. Learners from Purok 7 Old Nongnongan, Don Carlos, Bukidnon participated in this program in which survival rate is 100% and 0 % drop out rate for the school year 2021-2022.
