2. All advantages at a glance
Easy operation, fast regulation, good stability and homogeneity
ü Fast stabilisation time (e.g. 3 min from 35%RH to 80%RH
at 25°C)
ü Highest measuring stability due to optimal insulation of the
chamber and high-end sealing adapter plate
ü Large measuring chamber (Ø 160 mm, depth 320 mm)
ü No condensation inside the measuring chamber through a
regulation along the dew point
ü Guaranteed mobility- the compact size and the minimal
weight ensure an extremely flexible use of the Huminator II.
ü Wide temperature and humidity range from 5°C to 50°C
and from 5%RH to 95%RH
ü New touch display enables a fast and intuitive operation
ü Graphical and tabular view as well as storage and
evaluation of measured values
ü Integrated, easily accessible and replaceable reference
sensor, that eliminates the need for an external reference
system
ü Possibility to program measuring points and procedures
individually

Precise humidity calibrations
The Huminator II offers the possibility to perform a rapid and
easy humidity calibration of measuring instruments, sensors
and data loggers of all manufacturers. The supplied adapter
plate enables a calibration of up to five sensors at a time- wi-
thout deterioration of the homogeneity. Thus, a high level of
efficiency is guaranteed.
The timely programming function allows a large degree of auto-
mation of calibrations since up to 10 humidity and temperature
values can be retrieved automatically one after another. The
stabilization time can be selected freely.
With the help of a Peltier- element, the integrated temperature
regulation generates and stabilizes temperatures in a range
from 5°C to 50°C. Relative humidity can rapidly be produced in
a range from 5%RH to 95%RH by a high performance humidi-
fication system.
Concept of the removable
sensor
The Huminator II is equipped with a reference probe which is
integrated into the measuring chamber but which is nevertheless
easily accessible. It can be exchanged without any problems or
removed for recalibration.
Your advantages:
ü No need for an additional reference measuring instrument
ü Only the reference sensor has to be sent in for recalibration.
ü Downtimes due to the recalibration can be avoided through
the optional purchase of a second reference sensor.
4. Easy to use via the touch display
Due to the touch display, the measuring values are comfortable
to control. The clear menu structure enables an intuitive and
simple handling. Help texts are additionally at your disposal.
With the touch display, the Huminator II can be programmed in
a few steps. If required, this process can also be conducted via
the USB interface.
Furthermore, an acoustic signal helps the user to control the
stability and the filling level indicator of the water.
Large measuring chamber
The large and extremely solid measuring chamber provides
enough space for up to five sensors or several data loggers at
the same time. An optimal insulation of the chamber in con-
junction with a special sealing adapter plate ensure the stability
of the measuring values in a wide range of temperature and
humidity.

5. On-site use
The intelligent use of materials enables a total weight of only
19 kg. This makes the Huminator II mobile and flexible to use.
The water can be drained automatically with the help of a
display command. From this it follows, that the Huminator II is
quickly ready for transportation. The optimal protection is given
by an optionally available transport trolley, promising excellent
handling during the on-site use.
Stationary use in the calibration lab
The Huminator II is designed to carry out fast and precise humidity calibrations. In laboratory use, where fast processing times and
continuous operation are of crucial importance, the Huminator is characterized by its outstanding performance and its reliability.
6. Maintenance & Service
• Besides a power supply, no further external connection is
required.
• Directly accessible help texts are at your disposal on the
the touch screen. In addition, an electronic instruction
manual is provided.
• The integrated reference enables a fast recalibration.
Furthermore you benefit from a significant cost reduction
by saving the external reference.
• Due to the service access on the upper side of the housing,
the drying cartridge can easily be replaced at any time.
• You only need distilled water for the Huminators
operation, no further operating materials are necessary.
