Served as the backup VMware 4.X system administrator and Backup Windows Desktop and Servers
administrator, handling approximately 280 Virtual XP/Windows 7 Desktops, 200 Virtual Microsoft
Servers and 33 VMware ESXi/ESX 4.X servers in Development and SYST environments

application from standalone servers onto a virtualized VMware 3.5/4.0 environment running on
blade servers and utilizing NetApp SAN Storage, reducing serves from 21 to 6
Created a new disaster recovery solution, and implemented recovery tests every 3 months, shutting
down the financial application in the main datacenter and bringing the application up in the remote
datacenter local, reducing outage from a full day to 2-3 hours
