I strongly believe that I am a well qualified candidate for your company because of my
experience in loss prevention and market investigation. Over the course of my career I have
been able to work at different locations and in environments ranging from grocery stores, retail
stores, and an entertainment theme park. At each different place of employment I was
successfully able to rise up to the unique challenges set before me and perform to the highest
expectations of my managers and supervisors. I successfully de-escalated many hostile
situations with shoplifters and lead two internal investigations of employees whom I witnesses
stealing merchandise from their place of employment. I have also been able to understand and
predict shirk patterns in the retail stores I have worked resulting in lower shrinkage and better
product protection.
I am a passionate individual with a desire to continue to learn and grow in this fast pace
and dynamic field. I took it upon myself to receive training in store management to better
understand the internal store operations of the retail stores I surveyed. This greatly assisted me
in focusing on better asset protection tactics and greatly improved my performance as an asset
protection/loss prevention agent.
