• Sometimes I hear people saying they want to change the future. but they don't seem to know the past. Sometimes I see people trying
to change others, trying change the world. But they didn't seem to know who they are themselves.
Some people say that the past is gone and irrelevant.
I don't believe in that.
I don't believe that we have to cling to the past.
It clings to us.
I don't believe that anything just disappears without a trace.
Everything that is, sprang from what was.
Forgotten are the words that once have been told.
Buried in oblivion the songs that once rang out.
They're veiled, but not gone.
They're just veiled, pupated, like the larva in its cocoon.
I know that now.
I know where I come from.
I know who I am

• Song lyrics/opening for the album Origins.
• Spoken, instead of sung, with a dismal tone.
• Introduces the authors observations of what certain people are like.

4. Audience/Pathos
• Audience is generally anyone who comes across the album, as well as
fans and music critics.
• Tries to speak to people on a developmental and spiritual level.
• Uses the perplexity of his statements to draw in new crowds.
• Has people fade in and out of the video to make people realize that
what has been leads to what is.

5. Author/Ethos
• Author is the front man of the band Eluveitie; he created the band, and
spent the last 12 years growing it from the ground up.
• It is the band’s second concept album, building on the knowledge they
gathered from their Celtic ancestors to make their songs.

6. Constraints
• People who are new to Eluveitie’s music won’t get the concept of the
trailer, since it is essentially a reflection of the bands past 12 years of
performing.

7. Exigence
• Selling the album is the first priority of this trailer.
• Reflection is the pivotal building block of maturing.
