Direct Rooming Work Flow (Walnut Creek Emergency Dept. 2013)- Provided a base line
algorithm for direct patient rooming that utilized available staff more efficiently. Worked as a
department team leader to tailor the design to fit all shifts and classify job roles. The
workflow is currently being used.
Nurse Knowledge Exchange Committee (Vallejo Med-Tele Unit 2011)- worked with a small
team consisting of KFH management and RN staff to redesign the change of shift reporting
process. This involved implementing patient bedside report in order to utilize better time
management, provide consistency in the plan of care across the different shifts, and involving
patients more in their own care during their hospital stay.
