1. Outlook for Week of February 1, 2016

All major stock indexes are in bearish trend with downward MoM. So,
even though stocks bounced back last week it was not enough to turn
weekly MoM up.

Bonds are in bullish trend and adding to gains.

Gold is weak bearish and coming very close to its reversal level. Can it
turn bullish? This is the do or die point.

EURUSD is weak bearish and keeps failing to get back above 1.10.

Speculative buy signal for Oil. Survived a few tests of the $30 level and
appears ready to go up towards it weekly RevL, currently at $42.17.

Wheat is in weak bearish trend. Remains very choppy.

Buy signal for FTSE 100, first major index to get into bullish mode after
the recent drops. S&P 500 is also very close to its daily reversal level.

Bonds (TLT) are fully bullish and keep doing well.

Gold is bullish and adding to gains. Hold.

$EURUSD is back to bullish mode. Previous rally failed, maybe better
luck this time? The 1.10 level remains a major hurdle.

Oil is weak bearish and coming close to its reversal level. May turn bullish
next week.

Wheat stays in bullish mode, but looks like another failed rally in the
making. Needs follow through.

Speculative Buy signal for Canada.
Comments:

MoM is turning up for a few markets, which is a
sign of stabilization. But more is needed if this
was just a brief correction that the market is now
starting to put behind it. We need MoM turning
up for more markets and we need to start
seeing weekly Buy signals.

Malaysia and Mexico are currently the most
likely candidates to turn into bullish trends if the
market rebound continues.

Comments:

8 stocks bullish, up from 3 last week. Below 10

Keeping an eye on the Dow stocks

A good week with 5 new buyers. But 3 of them
are weak Buy signals, which can be tricky
because it means MoM is still pointing down.
When this happens it can be “dead cat bounce”
moves that reverse very quickly.

We want to see MoM turn up for more stocks
and need more buy signals to get to 20 bullish
stocks again. Then we can be more confident
that it is a healthy bull market again.
