Roni:
The time has come to say, “Good bye!”
But first…
Do you remember telling the Town of LG that whatever I do, you will be forced to do the same? I have that letter. That seems to be
your special rule, Roni. Oddly enough, you have done a tremendous amount to me which I have never done to you.
Do you recall what you did to me Easter week 2013 after I returned from an extremely traumatic experience, which you knew all
about? I will never forget how evil you looked that day as you stared me down from your picket fence, laughing at me while you
munched cereal from your bowl. You are a very scary person, Roni.
Do you remember telling neighbors that you, Roni, were “going to get” me? Do you know that for years many neighbors have
warned me about you, saying that you are crazy and miserable? Are you spreading lies to our neighbors about us? I believe you
are. Do you not realize how much you have already “gotten” me since I moved here in 2003? How much more are you willing to do
to me? Much more, we believe.
You are guilty of breaking one of the Ten Commandments: Love Thy Neighbor, as well as the Golden Rule: Do Unto Others. I was
raised to “Do Unto Others As You’d Have Them Do Unto You”. It seems you were not raised this way, Roni. Do you enjoy hurting
others while knowing that they won’t hurt you back because of that Rule?
You have never been a good neighbor, Roni. You never showed me any respect. You failed to act like an adult who uses her words
and kindness to handle problems. Since 2003, I have heard your voice four times. You have spoken to me only three times,
refusing to acknowledge my presence the rest of the time. How do you solve your problems, Roni, if you won’t talk about them? You
seem to live in a dark and silent world, Roni. Your lights are never on even when you are home. Are you hiding from someone,
Roni? We have reasons to believe you are hiding from someone else. Perhaps I am not your first victim?
Unfortunately, you have created such a mess for yourself that there is no way to appease the situation here at Tait and Bachman as
long as you remain living next door to us. There will never be any peace. I am absolutely certain of that. I intend to peacefully live
here in my home for the rest of my life. I have no reason to move away from my family, friends and hometown. So, here I stay,
forever. If you thought things were loud before, they are about to get a lot louder with three beautiful, teenage girls and all their
friends. Imagine the fun being had at our home in years to come!
For these reasons, I will no longer show you any respect and will not be discussing this situation with you as I would any other
neighbor. At this time, there is no room for negotiating. You already blew it beyond repair, and there is no way to turn back time.
Let’s review some of your many transgressions:
Prior to January 2004, I did absolutely nothing to you to justify 12 years of Hell as your neighbor. Whatever you think I did, it was
unintentional, and was not worthy of any of your cruel actions against us. I was battling my own difficulties, and I didn’t know you
existed! The only thing that makes any sense is that you hate children. The previous owners to my home were an older couple
without children. Is that why you hate us so much?
The issues started about January ’04, after you, Roni, told me you would not participate in the building of our “good-neighbor fence,”
which fell down to the ground allowing my children access to the street. You told me I had to find the law that said you were partially
responsible. For your information, the law does exist. You followed your refusal to help provide safety for all of us with a story about
your little brother who was killed by a car when he ran into the street. For six weeks, I searched desperately for the law while I laid
in a hospital bed monitoring the very risky birth of my twins, and praying that they would be born alive and healthy. I also wanted
them to be safe in our back yard with a new fence. I remember very clearly trying to appease your cruel and unusual demands, but I
was unable to find the law quickly enough. So, I built the fence on my own. By the way, I have an email from the previous owners
confirming we share a good-neighbor fence.
Do you remember climbing up above our good-neighbor fence so you could see what I was doing on my property? It was
September 2011, I believe. Once again, you called Code Enforcement. Once again, they came out to say all was good, so I
approached you in front of your home to plead with you to stop calling the Town and PD on me. The only thing you said was that
Husband #2 had just died. We didn’t even know he existed. What did I do to you? I gave you a hug and told you how sorry I was
for your loss. Then I asked you to please stop trying to get me into trouble. Well, my compassion towards you didn’t work. Instead,
you called the Town of LG to have my business closed down.
Prior to the closing of my business in August 2013, I continued to choose not to react to you. I remained friendly towards you right
up until you put your flood lights up into my bedroom that September. I made sure all our cars were always parked in front of our
home. I continued to say hello to you every time I saw you. I continued to blow leaves from the sidewalk as far to the Bachman
curb as I could. I always tried to be the best neighbor I could be. Regardless, I never got a hello or smile from you. Not once!
Do you remember when all that changed?
My response to your hurtful actions is one with peaceful results. I will pay no more, however. I have paid enough already!
Since 2004, you joyfully did every one of the following things deliberately and with cruel intentions, or you received immense joy
from knowing that indirectly you were able to hurt us, or you laughed with joy when someone else hurt us.
1. You refused to acknowledge California’s “Good-Neighbor Fence” law, leaving access from my property to your property and to
the street.
2. You called the LGPD on me more than 10 times, instilling fear in my children.
3. You called the Town of LG on me more than 20 times causing major grief for all of us. You called Code Enforcement every
time I made a necessary improvement to my falling-down home, which you complained to me was never improved upon by the
previous neighbors. I can’t seem to win with you. You hurt me no matter what I do. We will continue to build out this house
until its full potential has been reached. You can expect 20 more years of construction.
4. You spied on me, my family and my friends for years, and you continue to spy on us today with your cameras pointed over the
fence onto our property and into our kitchen.
5. You threatened to call CPS on my guests because their baby was crying.
6. You forced the closure of my only business which provided the only financial resource for me and my three daughters at a time
when I was struggling beyond your imagination not to lose my home while going through a divorce and caring for my three
babies. As you know, the twins are profoundly deaf. For years, there was little to no communication with them, and there was a
tremendous amount of crying and frustration. If you heard our cries, why did you not come to my aid? I needed help!
7. You deliberately turned your flood lights in the back of your home up into the back of my home lighting up my entire bedroom at
night and refused to point them down when asked by us and my favorite police officer.
8. You had my mother’s car towed.
9. While I was out of town, you tried to have my car towed for being parked for more than 3 days, but I was able to get it moved
before that happened. Did you not know that I pay for street parking? Don’t forget that my property has no garage, driveway
or alley access. We are now considering building a garage.
10.Your negligence caused not one, but two, horrific and costly electrical fires throughout my entire property for
which your insurance paid. The Town of LG will be fining you for your negligence. You are guilty of violating a very important
Town Code which ensures safety for yourself and your neighbors. To this day, you have never even acknowledged
the two fires to me. A person with a conscience would have done that right away .
11. You stared me down in the most wicked way when I was already as down as I could be.
12.You called the police because I was walking on the public sidewalk in front of your home. The police came just when the
mother of my child’s friend came to our home.
13.You had the nerve to tell me recently to better manage someone else’s dog.
14.You stole my paint cans from me and my painter and hid them on your property. Then you threatened my painter that you had
called the police on him.
15.You killed my thriving, purple vine that rests on our good-neighbor fence in my front yard. Do you not like beautiful livings
things? Luckily, I have four more of these vines that you can’t touch from your side of the fence.
Roni, you have instilled such fear in my family that they are certain you are going to hire someone to kill me.
The bottom line:
I am not going to endure another year of you hurting me and my family, and instilling fear in my children. For over a decade, my
family and I have suffered overwhelmingly at your passive-aggressive mental illness. We want restitution for all of our immense
suffering and pain that you caused us while you terrorized us from across our fence. The restitution I am seeking can neither be
found in the court system nor with a restraining order, for the legal system can’t make anyone perform. I have learned over the
years that nothing will stop you from hurting and terrifying us, especially kindness. If you have a heart and conscience, you will sell
your home and move from 251 Bachman, Los Gatos, immediately.
Karma To You! ~
