9. Hanukkah
• What is Hanukkah?
It is an eight day festival of lights celebrating the
return of the temple in Jerusalem.

People of Jewish decent.
• When is Hanukkah?
In December, usually close to Christmas.
• What is so special about Hanukkah?
People receive presents for eight days.

12. Kwanzaa

A celebration of the goodness of life.

African-Americans
• When is Kwanzaa?
December 26th – January 1st
