More than 200 volunteers from The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation, and Marriott International, Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH), organizers from KaBOOM!, community members, and residents joined forces on Wednesday, May 20, to build a new playground at Seneca Heights Apartments, one of MCCH’s permanent supportive housing programs that serves 17 formerly homeless families and 30 children . The design is based on children’s drawings created at a special design event in April.
