Floating Support Officer - Alabare Christian Care & Support - To provide tenancy related support to
promote independent living skills to people in their own tenancies, using a face to face, needs-led
approach, delivered through structured, task-centred support plans, leading to independence. Liaison with
outside agencies ensuring tenancies are maintained.
Childcare Development Officer – Wiltshire County Council - supporting and advising
New and existing nurseries, pre-schools and home childcare providers about business and legislative
issues, developing sound and sustainable business plans enabling growth in the childcare provider sector.
Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme Facilitator – Splitz Support Service
Sept 2013 to date – providing a facilitation and reporting role for male perpetrators of domestic abuse,
through a 5 module, 25 week programme delivered one evening each week. This role has been additional
to my full-time position. This is a community based approach that also sees a women’s safety worker
supporting the partners ex-partners at the same time. The programme is voluntary, but is heavily endorsed
by Social Services.
