QUALITY INVESTIGATIONS
Audits
1. Corrective action audit 2.3.5 Tool Use, various list of tool held on system and on hard copies, also tool on rack not
shown on current list on system.
2. Minor corrective action from CAA (External audit) outstanding, to be completed by Feb 2015. We also must make
sure that the capability list is sent to the CAA every time we update it. Not once a year should we fail to do this we will
ge ta corrective action on the next audit.
3. No issue raised during the BSI audit.
4. Minor corrective action raised from the last BSI (June 2014) for suppliers not on the approved suppliers list. This has
been actioned and closed as per audit report.
Purchasing Approved suppliers
Still finding unapproved suppliers, we need to make sure all suppliers are approved (parts for production only) some of
the suppliers that have contacted are not replying to my emails, if this occurs again we will have to stop using them.
Some of the suppliers are historic and are only used now and again, but we still need to add these to the approved
suppliers list.
Comments
Bentham has been sent to the suppliers for repair, we should have answer by the end of the week. Also the spectraScan
has a fault, we have sent the unit for repair to Micron in Mill Hill, awaiting feedback from them.

The data represents actual accumulated twelvemonth data ending at the current month. It must be appreciated that the SC21
calculations use data for items returned in a particular month against items despatched. These do not necessarily refer to items
originating from the same batches and so maxima and minima are often greatly distorted, especially with customers who use
items on projects often months after receipt. Sadly the distortion can make suppliers performance appear to decline during
spells of low order throughput.
