It is the policy of the Road Transport Department of Malaysia to provide a safe
and healthy environment for all staff and others who may be affected by its
activities.
Occupational Safety and Health Policy the Malaysian Road Transport
Department provides guidelines and regulations to ensure the safety and
health of workers related to the road transport industry in Malaysia. This
includes regulations on work safety for vehicles, drivers, and other workers
involved in the road transport industry. This policy also includes regulations on
the management of hazards and risks related to transport operations, as well
as compliance with work regulations in force in the country.

5. OBJECTIVE

To prepare and maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
To ensure that all staff is given information, instructions, and
supervisory training on how to use office equipment with security.
To investigate all accidents while working and take measures
to ensure that such events do not happen again.
To comply with the requirements of the legislation on safety and
employee health as stipulated in the Safety Act and Employee Health
1994, its regulations and codes of practice approved.

Set a regular procedure for road transport officers
and departmental staff regarding the safe and proper
use and driving of enforcement vehicles. Ensure that
each enforcement vehicle used complies with the
instructions and regulations that have been set.
SCOPE
In all circumstances, all road transport officers, and
departmental staff follow this procedure when using and
driving enforcement vehicles. minimise the rate of
damage and accidents for the purpose of extending the
life of the enforcement vehicle, even if it is used jointly.
7. IMPORTANT OF SAFETY DOCUMENT SYSTEM
A safety document system is an important tool for ensuring the safety and health of workers and
other individuals in the workplace. It helps to identify and control potential hazards, as well as to
provide guidance on how to safely perform tasks and work activities. A safety document system can

• "Danger" signs are used to indicate

10. NATIONAL PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST
The National Physical Fitness Test is
designed to measure and predict physical
fitness based on body health. UKJK
components consist of body composition,
muscle strength, flexibility, muscle
endurance and cardiovascular fitness. This
UKJK assessment will be fully
implemented by the Ministry of Youth and
Sports.

13. FAMILY DAY
The Road Transport Department's (JPJ) Family Day, which was held, is one of the
department's annual activities to strengthen friendships and family relationships
between all staff at JPJ and their respective family members. This is because the
family institution is a fundamental channel in forming an individual's attitude, moral
values, and integrity, as well as giving birth to a harmonious and dynamic society.
Organizing Family Day is also one of the ways to unify and increase cooperation
among all management and support staff. The activities that will be carried out on
this family day are planned to create a container of friendship and goodwill
between the Road Transport Department (JPJ). However, it is necessary to
emphasize the management of safety, health, and the environment before, during,
and after doing this family day program. Every JPJ citizen hopes this Family Day
celebration will be more lively, run smoothly, and successfully achieve its
objectives. The theme of the family day is "Relax Together" and "Go Green."

14. OBJECTIVES OF JPJ'S FAMILY DAY
i) Give space for JPJ staff to do activities with their families
in their free time.
ii) As a space to get to know each other and strengthen
relationships. friendship among JPJ staff and family
members.
iii) Encourage the spirit of cooperation and respect and foster
good values through the activities carried out.
iv) Creating understanding and a teamwork spirit among JPJ
members can simultaneously improve the quality and
productivity of work.
15. IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY DAY
• Improved employee morale:
A family day can help to improve employee morale by giving employees the
opportunity to bring their families to work and spend time together. This can
create a more positive and supportive work environment.
• Enhanced team building:
A family day can provide an opportunity for employees to interact with each
other's families, which can help to build stronger relationships and improve
team cohesion.

By providing employees with the opportunity to relax and recharge with their
families, a family day can help to increase productivity by reducing stress
and burnout.
