Let’s get started….

Open your web browser.

In this tutorial, let’s use
Google Chrome
web browser.

Type in www.trello.com

Click Sign-Up. It’s free.

Type in your Name

Type in your Email Address

Type in your Password

Click on Create New Account

Go to your email to
confirm your email
address.

Click on Verify Address

Log in to your Trello here

It will route to your
Trello Dashboard

Board Basics
Let’s begin with

What is your Board?

Board is a collection of
card ordered in a list of
your Lists.

You can use to
manage your projects.

Track a collection or
Organize anything.

How to create a Board?

Click on + on Trello
Dashboard

Click on Create Board

Type in the Title here

Click on Create

You successfully created
your 1st Board

How to add a list of Task?

Click on the empty space
of the box

You can type in To Do

Click on Save

You can add another list.

You can type another
title here

Then Click Save

Let’s type another board

Then Save

How to Add Card
inside the list?

Click Add a Card here

Type in your task here

Click Add

Type in another task

Click Add

You can keep on
adding tasks here

Adding a task on your
Currently doing list

Type in the task you are
Currently Doing here

Click Add

Adding a task on
your Done List

Type in the task you’ve
Done

Click Add

If you like to work on
your To Do List…

Drag and Drop the task from
To do list to Currently doing

This will appears

Let Say...
You finished a task what
you currently doing.

Drag and Drop the task from
Currently Doing to Done

You can put Labels on
your task

Hover your cursor over the
task you want to put on Label

Click on the Pencil icon

Click on Edit Labels

Select and Click on the Colour

Click on Save

Put Labels to
Categorize the tasks

You may prefer to use
colours to group the task

Yellow labels for tutorials

Label some for other task
like for Blue

Let’s add details
to the card

Click on the card

This will appears.

You can now put details
on this particular card

Click the Edit the Description

Type in your description

You can also add a link if
you want.

Then Save

Let’s Add Members

Click Member here

Click the name of the member

A member is now added

Let’s add a checklist.

Click on the Checklist

Type the title of your checklist

Click Add

You can now add items
under checklist

Click on Add an Item

Type an Item here

Click Add

Tick the item you have finished

Let’s Add Due Date

Click on Due Date

Set up the Date

Click on Save

Let’s Add Attachment

Click on Attachment here

Select which Source of
attachment you will take from

Select attachment from
Computer

Computer Folder will
appear here

Select the file to be attached

Click Open

The File has been
attached to you task

Lets go back to Task
Board to take a look

Let’s add Calendar on
the board.

Click on Show Menu

Click on Power Ups

Select on Calendar and
Click Enable

Click on the Calendar Icon

Calendar Appears

Let’s Close a Board.

Click on the Board you
prefer to close

Click on More

Click on Closed Board

To reopen, Click on
here to Reopen it.

OR you can go to Boards

Click See Closed Boards…

Click Re - Open

Yes, You can now start to
use your Trello to
organize your activities.
