I’ve been taking music seriously since 2019 but I’ve been rapping since I
was about 15 I just never took it serious then . What inspired me was life
all the things I’ve been thru the good , bad and ugly also what inspired
me was my brothers the one who’s still with me and the ones who are
gone ,
My plans are to keep applying pressure and not to take my foot off their
necks “respectfully” 🥷🏿🥕. And at the moment I’m working on a new
project/album.

Im from Scarborough grew up there my whole life .
Who inspires you in today’s music?
Who inspires me right now is Kendrick Lamar , lil baby , lil durk
, EST gee , babyface ray ,belly , and my self.

Mizery is a recording artist born and raised in
Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He released his
single titled “Loyalty ” in October of 2022.

Tobermory is hailed as the
“scuba diving capital of
Canada.” The lakeside town is

Alen Palander is a Toronto-based
Creative Director and Photographer.
Throughout his education and work life
in Urban Design and Architecture, Alen
dabbled in photography and
filmmaking as a hobby, with no formal
training in the field. Alen now works
with some of the world’s largest
brands while also running his
production company, Palander Studios
Inc.
Amassing a fan base in the hundreds
of thousands worldwide, Alen's brand
and social media platforms grew, new
and exciting opportunities began to
unfold, and he quickly realized that his
hobby had become his livelihood. Alen
draws much of his inspiration for his
visual pieces from architecture, design,
and travel to distant locales. With the
propensity to pick up the camera and
capture the world at a moment's
notice, his lust for creating propels his
perspective and represents something

Tory Accused of shooting Hip Hop superstar Megan
the stallion in the foot. Tory Lanez currently behind
bars in a L.A county prison seemingly fighting for his
freedom after he was found guilty for shooting
Megan the stallion in the foot. After a super shaky
trial in which investigators had no DNA evidence
indicating Tory shot Meg, along with several lies on
accusers end prosecutors along with jurors still
convicted Tory on all 3 counts. Tory has since hired
hip hop Mogal suge knight’s previous lawyer ‘David
Kenner’ who’s rep is up with and often talked about
next to Johnnie Cochran and he is looking to appeal
his case. Tory’s sentencing was set for january 27th
however it looks like if his lawyer Kenner is able to
get approved for appeal it could be pushed back
until late February.

Selina McCallum is a hardworking and ambitious digital media specialist, filmmaker, photographer and
videographer who is passionate about storytelling, music and social justice. She was born in Toronto and
raised by her Tanzanian mother and Jamaican father in the Flemingdon Park community. She graduated
from the University of Windsor in spring 2019 with a double degree in Digital Journalism and
Communications, Media and Film. She started her photography business, Shot By Selina in 2016, and has
worked with brands, models and businesses. Selina has managed several social media accounts and has
lead social media campaigns. In 2018, Selina won a national award for her videography work in her short
documentary Marley’
s Journey, which was also featured in Windsor Shorts 2019 on CBC GEM. In 2021, she
directed a film called Prison Bars to Page Lines which broadcasted nationally on CBC. She recently
graduated from the VFX program offered by the CEE Centre of Young Black Professionals. This year
Selina has accepted a part-time position at a marketing agency called Innovate By Day, while she will also
be completing a 4 month internship at Warner Music in the Marketing department. In her free time, she
loves to watch movies and be with friends and family.

What inspired me
I met George in 2020 in his barbershop in a
community called Riverside in Toronto. After
learning that he has been married for 56
years and also has his barbershop in the
same location for the same amount of time, I
was blown away. I wanted to tell his story
because most Gen Z's struggle to find
consistency and balance in their life, and so
my aim was to have George shed a little light
on the secret behind a long, happy marriage
and a successful business.
George Illadis has owned his barbershop
in a community called Riverside in
Toronto, Ontario for the last 59 years.
He has also been married to his wife for
the same amount of time. In this short
documentary, George shares with us his
life story, how the pandemic affected
him and the keys to happiness in
business and marriage.

Jane and Finch rapper Duvy is unlike most
Canadians snowbirds seeking a little sunshine
during the dreary winter months, Duvy couldn’t
care less about the weather and is all about
working. His most recognizable catchphrase is
introducing songs by saying “this shit off the
top,” and he says it’s about saying something
that satisfies him in the end. Duvy’s music has
followed a steady cadence befitting a numbers
man, with singles dropping in the limelight from
his songs like Shlime Talk, Nightmare Z, Pain
Freestyle, 2 Sides of Me.
Duvy released his first studio album,
Grasswayz. With more songs and more runtime,
the rapper didn’t feel as compelled to go for the
jugular with every bar. Duvy’s got melodic
chops he wanted to expand.“(Grassways) is a lot
like every other neighborhood. It’s dangerous.
There’s a lot of ups and downs. You see a lot of
people change. But if you’re not from there, the
only thing I would tell you is not to come here.”
That being said Duvy is definitely someone that
should be on your 2023 radar. We predict he
will have a great turn out this year.

Casper TNG making an explosive return to the
music scene with “Dubber Don” after serving
four years in jail. Casper TNG was one of the
biggest musical names coming out of the city
with hit songs such as “Freeze“, “Know Me“,
“Like Me” and more.The music video ‘dubber
don’ shows scenes of the rapper living a
luxurious lifestyle with stacks of cash, in the
studio, working out and more. He also raps
about his success, showing off the plaques in
his room in the video.
Keeping his foot on the industry’s necks, he has
already announced his next music video “On
The Table” that will be released when “Dubber
Don” hits a 100,000 views.Casper dropped a
mixtapes just days before the new years and
has started off the new year with his latest
drop ‘Did you miss me’ released on the 1st.
Casper explained that both of his parents were
mixed with multiple races and that his father
was a JUNO Award-winning artist as part of a
music group. He has stated that his influences
include Drake, The Weeknd, Future, French
Montana, Gucci Mane, amongst others.

Haviah Mighty (born December 17, 1992) is a
Canadian rapper from Brampton, Ontario.[1]
[2]She rose to prominence in 2016 as a member
of the hip hop group The Sorority, before
releasing several EPs on her own, most notably
Flower City, in 2017. Her first album, 13th
Floor, was released in 2019, and won the 2019
Polaris Music Prize. XXL named her one of the
"15 Toronto rappers you should know"[4] and
CBC Music named her one of the "New Faces of
Canadian Hip Hop"
In 2020, Mighty was featured on Tobi's "24
(Toronto Remix)" and its corresponding music
video, along with Shad, Jazz Cartier, and Ejji
Smith.[27] Her song "Thirteen" was shortlisted
for the 2020 SOCAN Songwriting Prize.[28] She
also released a single, "Occasion", in December
2020.[29] The music video for her song
"Thirteen", directed by Theo Kapodistrias, won
the 2021 Prism Prize.[30]
Mighty performed at the 2021 FreeUp! The
Emancipation Day Special.[31]
On November 12, 2021, Mighty released the
mixtape Stock Exchange.

One of many rappers rising out of the
notoriously violent Rexdale neighborhood of
Toronto, Ontario, Moula 1st reflected both the
intensities and celebratory spirit of his
environment in his tense and often eerie tracks.
Frequently collaborating with friend and peer
Pyrex, Moula 1st began releasing songs online
around 2016, eventually working toward singles
and videos in 2017 for standouts like the
horror-movie soundtrack trap banger
"Function" and "Wake Up," a reflection on
positivity in the face of financial and emotional
struggles. He followed the same year with the
single "Airplane."
Moula has been featured on OVO Sound Radio
several times and appeared in an OVO Roots
commercial with Noah “40” Shebib a few years
ago, leading some to surmise that this may just
be a bit of friendly competition more than
anything else.
Regardless, whether Drizzy was actually
taking a shot at the rising MC in “Seeing
Green” is anyone’s guess, but one thing’s for
sure: Moula’s got his attention now. Moula 1st

Sure, making a name for youself during a
pandemic is an impressive feat. But making a
name for yourself during a pandemic while
under house arrest? Move the fuck over,
Addison Rae—that’s some next-level quarantine
productivity. it’s exactly what Road Runner
pulled off back in February, when his EP
Forever Alone hit No. 1 on Canada’s iTunes hip-
hop chart. “I’m not even able to enjoy my shit
going No. 1 because I’m stuck at home. After his
close friend Nuski was shot dead during an
altercation with the police in 2019, he made a
vow to pursue music seriously.
Over melodramatic, piano-based beats, he raps
about the realities of coming up in his low-
income area—the things he can’t unsee, the
friends he’s lost, his desire to make amends
with God. They’re songs inspired by pain but
steeped in melody, not unlike the catchy
Chicago street rap of Calboy and Polo G. It’s
demon-exorcising music you can’t help but sing
along to. In 2022 road runner released
Trapistan The Mixtape which features fellow
Toronto artists Portion, 3MFrench, Yung Tory
and Brooklyn native ABG Neal.

The Canadian Club 41 Year Old, according to those
behind it, is the oldest aged expression ever released
by this brand.

full-bodied and fruity
