3. For this first flat plan, I will want to show the consequences on the
body showing the body parts on someone who is drinking, I want
to include a bright plain background to keep somewhat of the
simplicity and keep them theme so its similar to the Change4Life
and Better Health Campaign. I want to keep the colours to be
bright and using the bright colours to my advantage showing the
body parts that alcohol affects the most. The location of this would
just be in the studio because I want a plain bright background and I
want to edit the main body in black and white so bright colours
stands out will have the clients logo in the bottom left corner
4. On this flat plan I want to show someone very
young (under 16) drinking alcohol, in a
stumbling position and having the statistics on
the left of the person, I want the low light onto
the person. This might be motivation for
people to stop drinking. I might get my younger
sister or a younger relative to pretend to drink
and stumble. I think this would attract the
target audience to pay attention to the advert
because it shows someone who is way younger
than the target audience which may be a
realisation for them.
5. On this flat plan I want to have a bottle of can of alcohol, just any
branded alcohol. I want the shot to be in portrait and the light to
be lowkey, I will photoshop the brand labels an come up with a
parody name hinting at the consequences of alcohol, make a new
logo and in the list sarcastically the consequences of alcohol and
relate it to the younger generation. I think I may want the
background to be a very dark colour or pure black. I think the target
audience would like this because of simple and the slight humour
and double meaning it has. It is very different from there other
campaigns on drinking and may catch peoples eye because of that.
7. Radio
My script is suitable for my target audience as I am trying to show the consequences of
alcohol on the body and the effects of it, both long and short term. I want to have a party in
the background as a non diegetic sound so it relates more to my target audience.
Throughout my radio ad I will have glasses clinking and people talking and muffled party
music to make the environment more realistic in the background. I want to make the
background more like a party because of the target audience it is more likely for there to be
a party with younger people instead of a pub. I used shock tactics so it is aimed towards the
younger generation and may make them rethink drinking too much at a younger age
showing the effects it can have on their body to early. The shock tactics that I used shows
that underage drinking is normalised. All the sounds except from the main narrator voice is
non diegetic
Muffled party sounds and speaking all throughout the radio ad
Muffled sounds stop
Police sirens and then fades out
