2. Firstly, I thought about pop artists and bands who are popular
within the pop industry. This is one of the main modes of
address to the audience, because the model on the front
cover will be the first section that will be directly looking
towards the reader. If a magazine front cover did not have a
central image then it would look bare and lose it’s purpose of TAYLOR SWIFT
what it wants to target.

3. ● I used a consistent colour theme on the front cover, as this made it
look professional but still colourful because I used a blue, purple colour
for my mast head and various cover lines, however it contrasted with
the use of pink, black and white which made the fonts stand out from
the background which is of a neutral type of colour, as it is taken in a
natural, outdoor environment.
● Including a unique selling point was essential to thinking about what
is successful to actually attract the audience. My unique selling point is
that it is aimed at young girls which is extremely specific through the
use of the front cover model and house style.
● The language used is important because that is what the audience
will be reading and if it is not interpreted in the correct way then it will
not attract them so I used an informal tone/language for my magazine,
and using a friendly, warm approach directly involves the reader so
using first person techniques is always a good way to interact with the
audience.

4. ● The mast head and centre image are directly facing the reader
straight away, as they are the main attraction. The content shown
on the front cover, such as what is in the magazine; celebrities,
interviews, posters etc intrigue the audience and therefore, will
want to read more.
● It is good to give a confident vibe to your magazine, as it shows
a representation in a positive way.
● From my questionnaire results, I found that the most purchases
would be made from a supermarket which shows that the
supermarket will be local to them, and not a hassle to buy. I would
distribute to any major supermarkets as that seems to be the easy
and popular access.
● The majority of people in my questionnaire results said that they
are attracted to buying magazines if interviews with celebrities are
included, and so I made the cover story an interview with a popular
singer of today’s society.
