Recent events have included a series on the Syrian refugee crisis, discussions surrounding incarceration in
the US, and uniting students against the recent ISIS attacks in Paris, Beirut, and Baghdad by holding a vigil
for the victims

Events have included mobilizing a protest,educating and encouraging students on becoming savvy donors,

conflict

Islam does not exist in the US

Worked with Professor Goldner to design a proposal to research how political rhetoric shapes racism and how
its effects, such as increased violence, stress levels, and psychological issues should be viewed and
addressed as a public health issue

Designed and executed a statistical analysis of the Wicker Wellness Center (student health center) with two
other students (and consulted ProfessorRoger Hoerl) to identify trends in student usage with regards to
specific services
Utilized results to brainstorm organizational strategies for the wellness center and applied for a Strategic Plan
