2. PROJECTS
01.2011- Nasjonalbiblioteket, Norway
Norway national library receives orders for books and media from other
libraries in Norway through an external system (BIBSYS) using
XML messages. They use Ware House Management System (WMS) to
collect and dispatch the orders and report XML delivery messages back
to BIBSYS. In this project, I am responsible for:
• Installing Weblogic, Forms and Reports11g R2 servers on Windows
2012.
• Installing Oracle database12c on Windows 2012 and update the
database with production data using Export/Import.
• Upgrading WMS application from Oracle Forms/Reports6i to
Forms/Reports11g R2.
• Using new features such as Oracle Java Graphs and Java Barcodes
in WMS application and oracle reports.
• Finding solutions for application issues after upgrading to 11g.
• Setting up http DAD connection for MOD_PLSQL on development
and production application servers.
• Fixing old WMS application bugs.
• Developing new required functionalities.
• Provision of support during testing and going live.
Thule Group, Sweden
On this project I used Java programming to establish communication
between Thule WCS server and external Web Services. My main
activities were:
• Jboss7 server and Eclipse installation on Windows 2008.
• Developing several Java utility programs and a Standalone server to
receive telegrams and send XML Soap messages to external Web
Services.
• Creating a Web Service and deploying on Jboss7 server. This Web
service receives XML Soap messages, converts and sends them to
Thule WCS server.
Gilde, Norway
My job was to install and upgrade database and WMS application on
Windows 2012. The task included:
• Installing Weblogic, Forms and Reports11g R2 servers.
• Installing Oracle database12c and Export/Import data from production
database.

• Developing Oracle PLSQL packages to receive XML Soap messages
from external Web Services and insert them into Oracle tables.
• Developing Oracle PLSQL packages to create XML Soap messages
from Oracle tables and send them to external Web Services.
Eli Lilly and Company, USA
I supported the project team with installation of Oracle database 11g and
setting up RMAN backups. I created new schemas, exported data
from production database and imported it into the new database.
SEW-EURODRIVE, Germany
SAP and WMS use XML files for sending orders and reporting delivery of
orders.
I successfully created Oracle PLSQL packages to read SAP XML orders
from file system, and insert them into WMS Oracle tables.
I also developed Oracle PLSQL packages to create XML files from WMS
Oracle tables. The XML files were WMS delivery reports and were
loaded into SAP system.
Statoil, Norway
As a consultant, I worked for Statoil to find a solution for Troll B platform
online data updating disputed issue. I investigated the problem
and purposed a solution which agreed by third party contractors.
Reibar Food, Norway
I developed several Oracle PLSQL functions and procedures for
communication between Microsoft Biztak/SAP and WMS
Arla Food Jönköping, Sweden
As member of development team, I was assigned to stablish
communication between WMS and SAP systems.
My main objectives were:
• Installing Weblogic server on Windows 2008 with Fail Over feature.
• Design and Development of several Web Services using Jdeveloper
and deploying them on Weblogic server.
4. • Development of Oracle PLSQL packages for XML Soap message
communication between WMS and SAP.
• Developing new WMS forms and reports.

from oracle tables and send them to external Web Services.
07.2009 - 12.2009 Patient Exemption Checking System, Spora Group
Application migration from Oracle Forms6i to Oracle Forms10g. This
includes system preparation, new features development, UAT support,
data migration and production installation. PECS is a fraud investigation
application and communicates with different applications through Web
Services, database links and File Transfer.
04.2009 - 07.2009 HIC Image Extraction project, Sopra Group
Health Informatics Centre (HIC) is a partnership between the University of
Dundee and National Health Services Scotland. I developed Unix shell
scripts to extract 4 million prescription images from the Tower image
store, process and transfer them to the HIC servers.
10.2008 - 04.2009 NHS Commitment project, Spora Group
I helped in the development of NHS commitment phase 2. The NHS
commitment project is an Oracle PLSQL application and was designed in
two phases. I led the design and development of phase 1 in 2007.

water resources (i.e. ground water, wells, rain, dams, etc) and
consumption (i.e. population, industries, agriculture, etc)
information for the government development project plan.
