The international bicycle
trade show, Eurobike, came
to an end on Saturday in
Friedrichshafen.
Setting a new record with
1320 exhibitors from 54
countries and 46,300 trade
visitors from 111 countries,
Eurobike once again show its
great influence.
Exhibitors like Bosch and
Shimano attract people’s
attention once again. It is
a new design, advanced
technology show. There is
much more you can learn
about European E-bike

CEVO had paid a visit to
Mr. Arno Cup and Mr.
Sander Jans from E-bike
Nederland B.V. during
Eurobike.
Mr Cup, CEO of E-bike
Nederland B.V., shared
with us that they
imported from Geoby
Electric Vehicle before
and stopped the business
for the quality problem.
Due to the incapability of
many Chinese suppliers
in the control of product
quality that upsets
buyer’s demands, Mr.
Cup said, they now still
have over 800 e-bikes in
stock, probably causing
their unnecessary losses.
Currently, Mr. Cup is
contacting with an e-bike
manufacturer Eurosport
DHS from Romania, who
also exhibit during the
Eurobike at Hall A6-300.
After we briefly
introduced our company
and service, Mr. Cup
highly agrees with what
the platform we are
going to launch. As credit
system and joining of
supervisory organization
constructed, Mr. Cup
said he would definitely
be sure to join CEVO’s
new project where
foreign importers
would be able to have
a guaranteed service
of product quality and
after-sales services
when purchasing the
stuffs from Chinese
manufacturers.

Market segmentation—a way for Chinese
OEM factory to win European market
Many Chinese factories are OEM service suppliers at different level of R&D. Some of them
may have their own brand and export to Europe, such as Leisger International GmbH in
Jiangsu, while the rest still have to work hard on positioning.
Andrew introduced “ Unlike German market, UK focuses on middle-end e-bike with retail price
about €1500, which possibly attracts most of Chinese suppliers.” “Chinese suppliers need to
divide market in accordance with the characteristic of their own products, rather than blindly
rushing to one market,” he added. Andrew believed that Chinese suppliers will identify their
target market and customers with the support of market segmentation as well as provide
supporting services to achieve a marketing plan objective.
Andrew hoped Chinese suppliers could see this problem under the guidance acquired by the
third-party platform like CEVO. He believed what CEVO do for e-vehicle’s foreign trading will
definitely be meaningful and irreplaceable.

Following the comeback of
traditional Musing Brand, the word
and design mark were redeveloped.
With the distinct”M”, the elongated
lettering has a compact logo to
round it off, following on.
The carbon bottle holder takes its
shape from the MUSING logo on
the frame down tube. Integrated
design created by consciously
making graphic and product
depend on each other in their
structure.
2008 BULLS LOGO
The BULLS logo has been
developed while keeping its use
on the bike in mind. Modifying
the”S”in the logo created a
symmetrical image, starting and
ending on the left and right sides
of the down tube and always
ending at the same angle.
2012 CANYON Bottle Cage
The planning process was
dominated by a reduction in the
material, resulting in a simpler
design. The goal of the structural
development of the functional
model was to draw attention to the
distinctive CANYON logo.
2013 CANYON Carbon Frame
The design of the new SLX carbon
frame was built uncompromisingly
with the “stiffness to weight”ration.

11. Haibike is bringing a bunch of their Bosch powered electric bikes to the US
market for 2015.
And that includes the new Fat Six; a fat e-bike (4″+ wide tires!) with the Bosch
mid drive, aluminum frame, and Rock Shox suspension fork.
Bosch has set up shop in the US and Haibike is the brand that has the most
Bosch equipped e-bikes in the US.
How much do you know
about FAT Bike?
The Haibike FS RX uses a 4 bar linkage rear suspension system with 120 mm (4.75 in.)
of travel. Note how the rear shock is mounted in the seat tube area; wild! The chain
pulley is used to route the chain around the suspension design.
The front view of the left side of the handlebar. There is a button on the
front of the Bosch control pad that is a walk assist button for providing a
little assist while walking the bike uphill (steps, etc.).
The FS RX comes equipped
with the Bosch Powerpack
400 lithium battery. This is
a 36V 11ah (400 watt hour)
lithium pack that weighs
a surprisingly light 5.5
pounds!

During the meeting, Mr Edward Benjamin
from LEVA shows his great expectation for
e-vehicle industry and his concerns with
e-bike foreign trading business.
China is the largest market of e-vehicle
and parts export. Mr Oortwijn, chief
editor of Bike Europe also shared with
us that it is important for the global
e-vehicle environment to improve Chinese
manufacturer’s quality both in product and
attitude.

Tom, CEVO( China Electric
Vehicle Organization) of
Thombel Holdings B.V. is both
an importer from China for
many products and a consultant
for many companies in
Holland, China and the Dutch
Government because of his long-
term business experience with
China.
During the meeting, Tom shared
with us his importing experience
and expectations for Chinese
e-bike companies. He imported
from “Tonaro Electric Bikes” five
years ago. Due to incomplete
after-sales service for the parts,
Tom stopped buying complete
e-bike, and still importing parts
like controllers, control panels
, engines , batteries , lights for
bike.
In Tom’s eyes, although there
are too many big brands
in Holland, such as Sparta,
Batavus, Gazelle, etc, Chinese
electric bicycle manufacturers
are competitively priced with
European market. With its good
quality pro duct and complete
after-sales service, these local
brands take a big share of the
market. Tom and CEVO agreed
on the necessity of building
spare parts center to complete
the whole supply chain.
