Description :
 Document all the requirements of their existing implementation of RDJ.
 Install new version of Rules into RDJ and perform tests.
 Analyze the requirements and implement new incoming interfaces (new branches or
new products).
 Document process flows in Mega.
 Update/Create EGL programs for enrichment and/or reformatting of data.
 Resolve incidents.

Application : Intellimatch (IM) : Service desk & New changes
Description :
 Analyze the functional requirements to create new interfaces to IM.
 Set up the Intellimatch interface (Pre-Collector) in function of the requirements
 Add flow for archiving data from IM to info center.

 Update Perl Scripts.
 Create BAT files.
 Support both Competence Centers of IM and Define their requirements.
 Make punctual controls to ensure the critical flows were running well ( mainly Swift

Description : Reverse engineering of the applications NSA & FPR: Starting from the programs, the jcls,
the generated reports and the available data, document both applications
Application : Foreign Branches Interface (MIDAS) / Accounting (Bismarck)
Description : Gather and define the requirements of the Foreign Branches Interface to enable a better
synchronisation between the Accounting of Fortis Belgium and the Accounting of the
Foreign Branches :
• Add the Foreign Branches local reporting currency to the interface
• Creation of new reports in BO to be delivered to the Foreign Branches and to the
Foreign Branches Central Accounting Department.
• Reorganization of the whole interface to process data quicker towards the Foreign
Branches which work in an asynchronous manner, due to the time difference with our
country.

Description : Application Maintenance. The Application is completely written in VB6.
Application : DB Fair Value
Description : Analysis and development of a new application to gather all the accounting data from the
subsidiaries and the foreign branches as seen from the FBB point of view. These data are
enriched and the result is then split between the different subsidiaries and foreign branches
and sent to a ‘by subsidiary and foreign branch’-dedicated local server for further
processing.
Application : TVA
Description : Analyze the requirements and develop a new application for the automatic computing of the
percentage of VAT deductibility related to the IT expenses.
Application : BLIC ( Belgian Local Interface to CREW )
Description : Define all the functional and technical requirements and develop a new interface application
to gather and memorize data from the Belgian bank applications. These data are then
enriched to comply with the IFRS norm and with data necessary for the BASEL II reporting.
The interface is connected to an Access database. Develop Access Queries and write
Macros in VBA.
Migration of all the applications from the old interface ACU to the new one BLIC. Create
output data from BLIC for the national reporting NSA (New Schema A) while simplifying the
current reporting process.
Application Maintenance.

5. Application : ALM & ACU
Description : Maintenance and development of the ALM application (Assets & Liability Management)
which manages rating risks. ALM is a batch application running on mainframe with DB2 and
is written in APS COBOL.
Analysis and development of a new module in ALM to simulate the flows corresponding to
all the future financial movements that should be produced by a set of customer contracts,
starting from the current date.
Maintenance and development of the ACU application ( application interfacing most of the
bank applications with the reporting tools ). It was written in APS COBOL Batch with DB2
and executed on an IBM mainframe. Quality Assurance testing for each new introduced
bank application.
Analysis and development of a new module to enrich the data in ACU for the US-GAAP
norm.
