endless by heat and pressure.

Mechanical joint
As with the welded joints, we
first finger punch each end of
the belt when applying a
mechanical joint.
Between these ends a plastic
lacing is welded and also
fingerpunched.
The lacing contains a
mechanisme, which allows to
disconnect the joint at any
time. (see picture)

Mechanical processing.
Grinding top surfaces
The coated surfaces can be grinded down to desired
thicknesses. Next some applications require the coating
to be roughened.
Longitudinal and transverse milling
Either in preparation to attach a V-guide rope or for
special applications the ATLATOS® timing belt can be
milled in both longitudinal as transverse directions.

V-guide ropes.
To track the ATLATOS® timing belt
without using flanged pulleys,
thermoplastic V-guide ropes are
welded by hot air on the timing belt.
Available are guide ropes of 6 till 17
mm width.

For conveying applications horizontal or vertical cleats are often welded on the ATLATOS® timing belt.
