3. Indirect Questions
Direct questions are the “normal” questions that we can ask to friends, family members, and
people who we know well.
Example of a direct question:
“Where’s the bathroom?”
Indirect questions are a little more formal and polite. We use them when talking to a person we
don’t know very well, or in professional situations, and their form is a little different.
Example of an indirect question:
“Could you tell me where the bathroom is?”
Remember: We use indirect questions to make our requests or questions softer or more polite.

1) Where does she play tennis?

Nota: Observa cuidadosamente como la pregunta principal se convierte en
complemento para la pregunta Could you tell me… desaparece el auxiliar ya
que no esta permitido en la forma afirmativa pero la gramática de presente
simple se respeta agregándole una S al verbo por estar en tercera persona
es decir SHE y así sucesivamente con todos los tiempos. Observa también

7. Que te pareció este tema? Difícil? Pues parece que lo es, sin
embargo si te das cuenta solo es transformar la pregunta en
una oración positiva o en su caso negativa, lo cual esta ultima
no es tan común y bueno finalmente esta forma la utilizaras
como bien pudiste analizar en la explicación con personas que
no conozcas o bien personas como tu jefe, tus maestros, etc.
Es una manera muy formal de hacer preguntas. Espero que no
