3. GOD THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN
THE STARTS AND THE EARTH.

day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;

• 9 He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades,

4. • The zodiac is an area of the sky
centered upon the ecliptic, the
apparent path of the Sun across
the celestial sphere over the course
of the year.
• In this diagram, the Sun is "in" the
constellation Leo, because as seen
from the Earth, the Sun is between
us and the stars that make up Leo.
• The dates which are traditionally
associated with the signs of the
zodiac are the dates that the Sun is
supposed to be in the relevant
constellation.
• Zodiac – Ancient Greek’s
“zoidiakos kyklos”, meaning “the
circle of little animals”.
5. • Did you know that there are 88 constellations in the night sky?
• Over the course of several thousand years, human beings have cataloged and
named them all.
• Astrology has made famous only 12 of them and continue to play an active role in
the astrological systems.
• These are known as the zodiac signs, 12 constellations that correspond to the
different months of the year.
• From our Christian point of view we will use 48 of the zodiacal constellations.

1. Virgo – The virgin holding a branch and an ear
of corn; the promised seed of the woman.
2. Libra – The scales; the price deficient balanced
by the price that covers.
3. Scorpio – The scorpion; the attack of the
enemy; the redeemer's conflict.
4. Sagittarius – The archer; the gracious one; the
redeemer's triumph.

It is located in the south
10. • Astronomy
• Virgo, is a large zodiacal constellation on the celestial equator,
lying between the constellations of Leo and Libra. It contains
the star Spica and a cluster of several thousand galaxies (the Virgo
cluster), lying 50 million light years away which is the closest active galaxy
• The sun is in this constellation between August 23 and September 22.
• Virgo is one of the twelve signs of the zodiac. Its symbol is a young woman.
12. VIRGO

1. Virgo, the Virgin.
2. Coma, a woman holding
a baby.
3. Centaurus, the Centaur,
who is a half-man and
half-horse creature.
4. Bootes, a shepherd, or
harvester.
13. VIRGO, THE VIRGIN
Virgo holds a sheaf of wheat in her left
hand, in the sheaf is Spica the brightest
star. Spica means seed.
Remember Adam’s fall and God’s
Prophecy in Genesis 3:15?
And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”
On the right hand Virgo has a branch
where there is Subilon, another star.
Subilon means Branch.
Isaiah 11:1, Zechariah 3:8 and
Zechariah 6:12 12 Then speak to him,
saying, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts,
saying: “Behold, the Man whose
name is the BRANCH! From His place He
shall branch out, And He shall build the
temple of the LORD;
14. COMA, A WOMAN
HOLDING A BABY
Symbolizing the Virgin Mary and the Baby
Jesus.
Upon the Baby there is a star named
Coma. Coma means “The desired one”
Jesus is the waited Messiah and He is the
Desired One.
Haggai 2:7
7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall
come to the Desire of All Nations, and I
will fill this temple with glory,’ says
the LORD of hosts.
The Coming Messenger
Malachi 3:1
3 “Behold, I send My messenger, And he
will prepare the way before Me. And the
Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come
to His temple, Even the Messenger of the
covenant, In whom you delight. Behold,
He is coming,” Says the LORD of hosts.
15. BOOTES, THE COMING ONE
Boōtēs, meaning "herdsman" or "plowman" (literally,
"ox-driver")
• Isaiah 40:11 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He
will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in
His bosom, And gently lead those who are with
young.
• John 10:14 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My
sheep, and am known by My own.
• Arcturus meaning “Watcher” or “Guardian” is the
principal star in Bootes.
• Rev. 14:14-15
• 14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on
the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His
head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp
sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple,
crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud,
“Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come
for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”
16. CENTAURUS
• Represented as a Half-man and half-
horse. Symbolizing Jesus nature: both,
Son of God and Son of man, divinity
and humanity.
• Divine nature, filled with the Holly Spirit
in his earthly ministry to perform
miracles, He resurrected from the dead.
• Physical body, He suffered as a human,
emotionally and physically.
• Revelation 19:11, 15
• 11 Now I saw heaven opened, and
behold, a white horse. And He who sat
on him was called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness He judges and
makes war.
• 15 Now out of His mouth goes a
sharp sword…
• Here the spear represents as well the
Word of God.
17. REVIEW OF VIRGO AND ITS SIGNS
• VIRGO: The prophecy of the promised seed.
• COMA: (=The desired). The woman and child, the desired of all nations.
• CENTAURUS: (with two natures): The despised sin-offering.
• BOOTES: The coming One with branch.

He was despised and rejected--a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We

18. LIBRA, THE
WEIGHING SCALES
The constellation’s name
means “the weighing scales” in
Latin,
Hebrew word for Libra:
Mozanain, “the scales
weighing”
Libra’s scales describes God
eternal justice over the church.
Libra constellation lies in the
southern sky.
It is the second of the zodiac
constellations,
The sun is in this constellation
between September 22 – October 23
19. • Astronomy
• Libra is a faint constellation that is the 29th biggest in the night sky, and the only
zodiac sign not to represent a living creature. Instead, Libra is depicted in the
heavens as “weighing scales” it is located on the celestial equator
constellations of Virgo and Scorpio.
• Libra takes up a 538 sq/deg area of the sky, with the constellation’s “scale” shape
formed by the stars Alpha and Beta Librae that form the “cross-beam”, and the
stars Gamma and Sigma Librae that represent the “weighing pans.”
• The sun is in this constellation between September 22 and October 23.
21. LIBRA
Four Symbols of Libra:
1. Libra: the scales.
2. Crux: the southern Cross.
3. The Victim: a slain animal.
4. Corona Borealis: a crown.
22. THE SCALES
• Isaiah 40:12 12 Who has measured the waters in
the hollow of His hand, Measured heaven with a
span And calculated the dust of the earth in a
measure? Weighed the mountains in scales And
the hills in a balance?
• Daniel 5:27 27 TEKEL: You have been weighed in
the balances, and found wanting;
• The star Zuben al Genubi = The price is deficient.
Before coming to Christ we were found wanting.
• But now, because of Jesus you will not be found
wanting Colossians
2:9-10 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the
Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him,
who is the head of all principality and power.
• The star Zuben al Shemali = The price that covers.
• With Jesus on the scale we are found in balance. We
won’t be found wanting.
• This constellation with these two stars represent
the story of sinners who have received God’s
redeeming grace.
23. CRUX, GOD’S PLAN
FOR THE CHURCH.
Representing Jesus sacrificial work on the
cross, making in this way that when we are
weighed we are found not wanting.
Four bright stars form the cross figure, the
whole symbol is called Adom, meaning “to
cut off”
Isaiah 53:8 8 He was taken from prison
and from judgment, And who will
declare His generation? For He was cut
off from the land of the living; For the
transgressions of My people He was
stricken.
Jesus was “cut off” from his people, they
refuse to recognized him as “the desired
of the nations” their Messiah. Instead they
made him “their victim.”
24. THE VICTIM
Representing Jesus the slain Lamb of God
who took away the sins of the world. It is by
the shedding of His blood that there is
remission for our sins (Hebrews 9:22)
Jesus became the slain Lamb, He carried
the curses of all our sins, that is why He was
hanged on a tree.
The Victim was called “Sura” by the
ancients, meaning “sheep” or “lamb” The
prophet Isaiah called Jesus as the “silent
lamb” Isaiah 53:7.
The victim looks as slain by the Centaur’s
spear, Slain by Himself!
John 10:17-18 17 “Therefore My Father
loves Me, because I lay down My life that I
may take it again. 18 No one takes it from
Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have
power to lay it down, and I have power to
take it again. This command I have
received from My Father.”
25. CROWN
• We can see the serpent, who represents Satan
heading towards the crown, trying to poses it,
but that belongs to our Saviour and King
Jesus Christ.
• Ephesians 1:20 20 which He worked in Christ
when He raised Him from the dead and
seated Him at His right hand in the
heavenly places,
• Ephesians 2:6 6 and raised us up together, and
made us sit together in the heavenly places in
Christ Jesus,
• Psalm 103:4 4 Who redeems your life from
destruction, Who crowns you with
lovingkindness and tender mercies,
• Revelation 3:11 11 Behold, I am coming
quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one
may take your crown.
• Libra reveals the love of God.
Before coming to Christ we were found
wanting in God’s scales, but now as Saviour
has become the “price that covered”
26. REVIEW OF LIBRA AND ITS SIGNS
• LIBRA: The Redeemer’s atoning work.
• CRUX: The Cross endured.
• LUPUS: The Victim slain.
• CORONA: The Crown bestowed.
27. SCORPIO, JESUS VICTORY
OVER SATAN
• Scorpius is a large zodiacal constellation lying
between Libra and Sagittarius and crossed by the
Milky Way. It’s first magnitude star is Antares
• Scorpius is the Latin name for scorpion, and its
symbol is an scorpion. It is located in the
southern hemisphere near the center of the
Milky Way.
• The Hebrew word for Scorpio means “a deadly
foe,” or “to cleave in conflict”.
29. SCORPIO
• Four symbols of Scorpio:
1. Scorpio: the scorpion, a
symbol of Satan.
2. Ophiuchus: “the Serpent
holder”
3. Hercules: “the Strong
Man” and
4. Serpens: the snake
30. SCORPION
• Scorpio represents the foe whom
Jesus defeated, Satan.
• Genesis 3:15
15 And I will put enmity Between
you and the woman, And between
your seed and her Seed; He shall
bruise your head, And you shall
bruise His heel.”
• Antares is the main star of Scorpio
and means “wounding”, “cutting”
or “tearing”
• Isaiah 53:4-5 4 Surely He has borne
our griefs And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our
transgressions, He was bruised for
our iniquities; The chastisement
for our peace was upon Him, And
by His stripes we are healed.
31. OPHIUCHUS
• Ophiuchus. Greek name, meaning
"serpent-bearer“.
• Ophiuchus is a figure of Jesus. His
left foot is crushing Scorpios head. His
right heel is drawn back as if the
scorpion’s tail has stung his heel.
• 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 55 “O Death,
where is your sting? O Hades, where is
your victory?” 56 The sting of death is
sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us
the victory through our Lord Jesus
Christ.
• Ophiuchus is “the chief who cometh”
32. HERCULES
Is a figure of Jesus that represents power, all
power belongs to Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:18 18 And Jesus came and spoke to
them, saying, “All authority has been given to
Me in heaven and on earth.
Hercules is demonstrating his power by stepping
his left foot over the head of the dragon called
Draco. (Satan) While his club weapon is about to
smash the Serpens head.
Psalm 91:13 (KJV) 13 Thou shalt tread upon the
lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon
shalt thou trample under feet.
A star called Ras al Gethi = “the head of him who
bruises” is in the head of Hercules.
In his knee goes “the branch kneeling” star
representing submission to God’s perfect will.
• Mark 10:45 if He was a servant, so we are.
• Matthew 26:39. Jesus knelt in submission.
• Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of
God…
33. SERPENS
• Serpens, the snake is obviously
representing Satan.
• The bible speaks a lot of Satan being
a serpent, Genesis, the Psalms and
Revelation speak of that
representation.
• Ophiuchus is restraining Serpens
and limiting its movements, His
control over the serpent is obvious.
Revelation 20:2 2 He laid hold of the
dragon, that serpent of old, who
is the Devil and Satan, and bound him
for a thousand years;
Genesis 3:13 Now the serpent was
more cunning than any beast of the
field which the LORD God had made.
And he said to the woman, “Has God
indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every
tree of the garden’?”
34. REVIEW OF SCORPIO AND ITS SIGNS
• SCORPIO: The Redeemer’s conflict.
• SERPENS: Assaulting the man’s heel.
• OPHIUCHUS: The man grasping the serpent.
• HERCULES: The mighty man victorious.
35. SAGITTARIUS
THE ARCHER.
Carries the idea that Jesus gave us His
own power and ability to be His witnesses.
A half man – half horse, showing again as
in Centaur the dual nature of Jesus Christ:
Divinity and humanity.
It gives an idea of something to happen
very quickly.
36. • Astronomy:
• What’s the difference between the constellation Sagittarius and the sign?
• In our modern times, the sun passes in front of the constellation Sagittarius from
about December 18 to January 20.
• These dates are off by about a month from what you read on the horoscope page.
• The sun moves through the sign Sagittarius from about November 21 to December
21.
38. SAGITTARIUS
• Four Symbols of Sagittarius:
• 1 Sagittarius: the Archer
• 2. Lyra: the harp.
• 3. Ara: A funeral pyre.
• 4. Draco: the dragon.
39. SAGITTARIUS
• The Centaur, half man and half horse,
represents the dual divinity-human
nature of Jesus Christ.
• The Archer represents, Jesus, sending
arrows of truth and judgement.
• Rev 22:7 Behold I come quickly…
• Rev 22:12 and my reward is with me
• 1 Thessalonians 5:3… destruction comes
upon them.
• 2 Timothy 3:1-2
Perilous Times and Perilous Men 3 But
know this, that in the last days perilous
times will come: 2 For men will be lovers
of themselves, lovers of money,
boasters, proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to parents, unthankful,
unholy,
• The Archer is sending a deadly arrow
into his opponent’s heart: Scorpio.
• We are the victorious ones!
40. LYRA
THE HARP
• Symbolizing the rejoicing of the saints that
overcome in Christ.
• Genesis 4:21 21 His brother’s name was
Jubal. He was the father of all those
who play the harp and flute.
• Main star in Lyra is Vega = “he shall be
exalted, the triumph warrior”
• Lyra is an instrument of praise, praising to
Jesus our exalted warrior is a natural thing
for us, something that comes out of our
innermost being.
• An eagle is holding the harp. Eagle is
symbolic of overcoming, symbolizing
Jesus return as a Victorious King, rising
over all.
41. ARA
THE ALTAR
• Ara, Latin name meaning altar. This is a
funeral pyre.
• Its upside-down and the flames are
coming from underneath. Its flames are
blazing downwards.
• Signifies that Satan was cast down from
heaven and will be cast out into the
lake of fire for eternity.
• Ara is the representation of the devil’s
funeral.
42. DRACO
THE DRAGON
THE OLD SERPENT
• Draco represents Satan
• Eltanin star in the Dragon's
head, ... which stands for the
whole constellation, from
Arabic meaning "the
serpent.
43. REVIEW OF SAGITTARIUS AND ITS SIGNS
• SAGITTARIUS. The Redeemer’s triumph.
• LYRA. Praise prepared for the Conqueror.
• ARA. Fire prepared for His enemies.
• DRACO. The dragon cast down.
44. PRAYER
TIME
• Prayer of renunciation and deliverance of the effects of
reading horoscopes, carrying signs of the zodiacal months
and all related with witchcraft.
