This Cochrane review evaluated the efficacy of aspirin and anticoagulants for treating recurrent miscarriage in women without antiphospholipid syndrome. The review included two small studies with a total of 189 participants. The studies compared aspirin to placebo or enoxaparin to aspirin. Neither study found a significant difference in live birth rates between the interventions. Therefore, the review concluded that there is currently insufficient evidence to recommend the use of anticoagulants for this condition. Large, well-designed trials are still needed.
