Dr. Brunette is an industrial and systems engineer engaged in Global Public Health research. Her work focuses in applying human factors and socio-technical systems theory to the design of effective and culturally-relevant work & health systems with the goal of improving the physical, mental and social well-being of marginalized, resource-poor working communities. Her current studies engage resource-poor populations using primarily the Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) mechanism.
