Apart from a career in acute clinical medicine, I also work as a biomedical gerontologist, antiageing physician and theorist in extreme longevity.
Over the years I did some research on diverse age-related matters such as free radicals, carnosine, apoptosis, chaos theory, hormesis, complex systems and evolution.
My current interest is Radical Life Extension (i.e. the elimination of ageing using the scientific method), and I aim to act as a catalyst in order to bring together established experts in the fields of synthetic biology, nanotechnology, biomedicine, biogerontology, cybernetics, complex systems, ethics and singularity.
