2. 1. TIMING IS
EVERYTHING
Periscope is connected to Twitter & this platform is probably
where you'll be promoting your broadcasts the most.
Determine who your audience is & the most engaging times
they're online.
3. REMEMBER : Most people's
attention span on mobile is very
short. Make sure your
broadcasts are engaging &
attention-grabbing.
Stay tuned to find out how...
4. 2. A CAPTIVATING
TITLE
The title of your video & your name is the only thing users will see.
It is important that your title describes what your video is, in an
effort to get people to tune into your broadcast or watch it later.
5. 3. EASILY
ACCESSIBLE
You can either use Periscope in a private broadcast, share it to
Twitter or share your location. To get the most reach, we suggest
sharing it to Twitter & turning on your location.
6. You can't customize your Periscope broadcast promo tweet, but
once the broadcast expires (24 hrs. later), anyone who clicks the
link will be encouraged to check out more of your Periscope
account.
7. 4. Respond to
Comments
And it's important to do this while your broadcasting. Viewers can
like & comment the broadcast in real time. Acknowledge these
comments by responding out loud, while broadcasting to
encourage engagement.
8. 5. Experiment
Determine what type of content your audience likes best. Once
your broadcast ends, you can see how many live viewers you had,
how many people replayed it, and how many hearts (likes) you
received. Test, test and then test again.
