RECENT EVENTS
25th Annual
Latina History
Day Conference
During ‘Woman’s History
Month’ an annual
conference is held on the
second Friday of March
to celebrate the Latina
culture and recognize the
achievements of Latinas
both historically and
presently. This
networking event is an
extraordinary opportunity
for LCs and over 1,000 other attendees. It offered the resources needed for their career
development and advice from other Latina professionals in a vast array of fields. The Hope
Conference was held at the Millennium Baltimore Hotel in Los Angeles this year. To find out more
about Latina History day click here!
“Attending the Hope conference was an unforgettable experience. I was able to learn and receive
tips and advice from professional aspiring successful Latinas. Most importantly after the
workshops I was able to speak to Alanna Rizzo the host & reporter for the Dodgers and further
receive helpful tips for my career as a reporter. I enjoyed every minute of each speaker. Especially
the fact that everyone has a unique and truly successful story. I learned so much from the event
that I am able to continue staying motivated in accomplishing my goals. The inspiration and drive
to reach my goals not only comes from within, but the positive motivational words I received at the
event. The most important advice I will take into consideration is to never give up and keep trying,
because sooner or later all the hard work and determination will be worth it in the end. I am driven
to be able to follow the foot steps of these successful Latina woman, and prove that I can make a
change in my community and society.”
