Many non profit organizations continue to neglect their most important communication outlet - their website. Many seem to be stuck in 1999, with garish colors and 100s of cumbersome HTML pages. This presentation explores examples of successful aviation museum websites (and what makes them engaging) and compares them to a museum website that struggles to catch up to current technology.
3. Why Websites Are Important
To Non-Profit Organizations
Owned media, your internet real-estate, is a
big part of your “real-world” brand story. It is a
resource for both patrons and future visitors,
and a powerful communication engine for
raising awareness and money.

4. Detriments of Outdated
Website Design
A website is just like an employee that works 24/7/365. But
to work effectively, it must have the proper resources
invested into it. A neglected website can do more harm
than good.
