I've spent my career in optical telecommunications and cloud networking with a focus on optical system design, architecture, engineering, and development. In my various roles, I've honed strong experimental, analytical, research and product development skills to be able to drive innovation in metro, regional, and long-haul DWDM network design. This includes coherent transmission and DSP, flex-grid ROADM networks, high capacity but streamlined metro/DCI systems, and SDN-enabled optical transport. Many of the results that come out of my work have some degree of novelty and have led to several patents, peer reviewed publications, and conference papers.
