Dr. Nanyingi Mark is a doctoral research fellow at Colorado State University, USA and PhD student at University of Nairobi (Kenya). He investigates emerging diseases with a focus to climate change adaptation systems research on spatial and temporal epidemiology of Rift Valley Fever (RVF). He holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree (2005) and Master of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology (2008) both from The University of Nairobi. His Masters research at the Biosciences eastern and central Africa (BecA) ILRI focused on pharmacoepidemiology and drug development of herbal acaricides based on indigenous knowledge of Samburu pastoralists.
