C4AF series - AC Filtering
Overview
The C4AF is a polypropylene metallized film with a rectangular plastic box-type design (white or grey color),
filled with resin and 2 or 4 tinned copper wires.
Applications
Typical applications include AC filtering in harsh environmental conditions (automotive grade) in
Alternative energy, Industrial and Automotive.
Features & Benefits
• Rated voltage: 250 – 400 VAC
• Capacitance range: 1.0 – 62.0 μF
• Lead spacing: 27.5 – 52.5 mm
• Capacitance tolerance: ±5%, ±10%
• Endurance test: – 500 + 500 hours @ 1.25 x Vr AC @ 85°C
– 500 + 500 hours @ 1.25 x VOP105 AC @ 105°C
• Max. operating temperature TMAX: +105°C

The hot spot is the internal point of the capacitor where the temperature reaches maximum value.
