Lead consultant on a team that implements the CureViolence (Ceasefire) project in

partnering with the Ministry of National Security of Trinidad and Tobago. Responsibility
for the overall management of the project, inclusive of staffing, training, monitoring and
evaluation, report writing and liaising with major stakeholders.
Regional Security System (2014)
Consultant is responsible for the distribution and collection of data to the Regional
Security System, using questionnaires, interviews, and data of records of Juvenile
Detention Centres, public secondary schools, police forces and other authorities on
troublesome youth groups, detained youth in Guyana.

Evaluation of the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative (CBSI)
Consultant was part of a team that evaluated the Team that executed an in-depth
evaluation of the CBSI program in the Caribbean region. It involved evaluations of
systems and processes in the security machinery of the participating territories inclusive
of policy and military forces, air wings, forensic laboratories, judicial systems and other
related agencies.

Latin America Public Opinion Project, Trinidad and Tobago (LAPOP) 2014
Consultant responsible for conceptualization and executing of the project as well as
managing of logistics in Trinidad and Tobago over a 3 month period. The project
involves soliciting information on crime and democracy and the collected information
seeks to inform government and civil society policies.
Trinidad Cement Limited Group 2014
The task involved the execution of the Employee Satisfaction Survey for the TCL Group.
This exercise was conducted in the subsidiaries located in Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana
and Trinidad and Tobago. The research exercise involved quantitative and qualitative
methodologies, and the reports inform the human resource policies of the group.
The Impact of South-South Migration on Development in Trinidad and Tobago
(ACP Observatory on Migration/ International Organization for Migration) 2013
Lead Consultant in mapping literature and statistics on Migration for Trinidad and
Tobago. The research was designed to map the Returning, Absent and Regular migrants
in the country. Research is part of an international study of the ACP regions, and
information collected becomes part of the data repository at the IOM and ACP
Observatory.
Skills Needs Assessment Study (City & Guilds) 2013
Consultant responsible for developing and executing an island-wide skills needs
assessment in priority sectors for City & Guilds, London. The research consultancy will
feeds into the national strategy plan for City & Guilds entry and expansion in the
Trinidad and Tobago market to provide technical and vocational training, particularly to
the priority sectors.
Baseline Mapping Exercise (IDB) 2012
Lead Consultant in mapping literature and statistics on crime, victimization, and youth
involvement in crime for three Caribbean territories (Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname and
Guyana). This is a part of a larger activity that also included Barbados, Bahamas and
Jamaica. This activity was designed to highlight the achievement and availability of
statistics on crime in the region, in order to determine the gaps in the literature and
statistics. Report made recommendation for filling the gaps both in the literature as well
as the statistics available in each territory.
Safe Neighborhood Survey – Belize - (IDB) 2012
Co-lead consultant in executing a baseline survey in Belize C.A. for the Inter American
Bank to determine the extent of crime, victimization and neighborhood safety in the 6
Districts of Belize. The project will feed into the national strategy for crime prevention
and increasing of neighborhood safety, as there is a prevalence of increased crime
nationally.

Enhanced Public Trust, Security & Inclusion Project
Consultant was responsible for the execution of project as well as managing the logistic
in Guyana over a 4 month period. The project involves soliciting information on social
inclusion in 5 of the major regions of Guyana, and seeks to develop a policy that will be
directed by the motives, needs, wants of the people. The specific groups targeted by the
Project were youth, women, community leaders, religious groups, civil society, local
government and business communities.
Caribbean Development Research Services inc. (CADRES) 1998-Present
Consultant is responsible for the development and formulation of research proposals for
multiple projects undertaken for local, regional and multi-national companies. Additional
responsibilities include project and research management for large island-wide projects
for multinational corporations (bpTT), large local entities (Unit Trust Corporation of
T&T), and governments across the region.
Projects include customer satisfaction surveys, marketing research, opinion polls, and
specialized research. Projects are allocated due to research content, essentially looking at
market trends and making recommendations to the Director of CARDES for policy
implementation. Additionally responsible for evaluating the performance management of
a number of companies to establish the institutional fit and the value added component of
managers and regular staff, in order to determine the potential profitability of the
organizations.
First Citizens 2008
Consultant responsible for the development of execution of an island wide survey
designed to evaluate the possibility of introducing a new product into the market. This
project involved an island-wide survey instrument being executed and nation-wide focus
groups that fed into the final report.

monthly basis. Research documents are presently monthly and are used to inform tenant

Caribbean Regional Negotiating Machinery (CRNM) 2006
Consultant responsible for research (as the lead consultant) in qualitative and quantitative
data collection as well as creating a sensitivity index for the CRNM in 4 regional
territories that is used for Regional negotiations in the World Trade Organizations;
reporting directly to the lead negotiator, the Director CRNM/WTO.
Crisis Action Committee 2005
Consultant responsible for conducting research for the Crisis Action Committee, (Cabinet
appointed) to identify and isolate issues that affect trade between Trinidad and Tobago
