Testimonials from Business/Personal Life Coaching Clients
Mary Argese B. Sc., Postgrad. Dip. Bus (HRM)., Grad. Dip. Coaching
Principal Personal Coach
08 9242 7483 / 0407 193 395
Having met Mary has changed my life. I have been involved in Coaching in various forms from
various National and International presenters over the years and believe me THIS WAS IT!!! I
HAD FOUND A REFRESHING APPROACH ON LIFE COACHING. With the one-on-one quality time
together, Mary’s confidence, training and professionalism helped me realise I was not
understanding my potential. I lacked confidence in meeting new people because I felt I had to
be prepared all the time. The outcome, from several sessions was for me not to be such a
serious business woman and to be able to say –I don’t know but I will get back to you on that!!
Mary helped me see that I was working too hard on getting other peoples approval of me. I
really have overcome so many of my challenges and learned how to work through them best –
so they don’t overwhelm me. I really cannot recommend Mary enough in a short paragraph;
what a great listener and coach and such a big heart of gold.
Ann Bradford, Managing Director, Bladon W.A. (Advertising Promotional Products)
From what began as a meeting to see if I could improve my work habits, started an unearthing
of a range of emotions and false beliefs- it was an amazing experience in itself. Thank you for
helping me understand those emotions with trust, care, empathy and without judgment. When
I started I couldn't imagine a world where I could not see light at the end of the tunnel. Now I
have an un-interrupted 360 degree view...and I gotta tell you it is a very beautiful world out
there! The investment in you Mary was worth its weight in gold and I will be FOREVER in your
debt for making me believe in myself again.
David Miller, Client Relationship Manager, Cambridge St Associates
Dear Mary, I am writing this to say thank you for helping me with my life skills. When I
undertook these sessions I was hoping to gain something that would help in my role as a
Manager. What you did was improve my business procedures and self belief and also provided
direction on communication with my family and employees. You showed me my value, to my
family, my employers and my
1
work colleagues in the 6 sessions we had. With the small goals that I set between sessions, you
always challenged me to find the right answer for me, and never forced your opinion on me. I
was comfortable to confide in you, and with that trust, you showed me processes to make
business more manageable and home life to be more fulfilling. Thank you.
Doug Rawlings, Business Manager
“When I first met Mary I was very reserved & didn’t like to share. Through Mary's persistence I
have opened up allot and changed my life around for the better. On areas such as
* Communication
* Confidence
* Setting personal goals
* Personal life
It was a life changing experience that has helped me in more ways than I can mention.”
Michael Goldring, Front Office Supervisor, Sorrento Beach Resort.
“I would like to take the opportunity to thank you. My life has moved powerfully in the months
we have worked together. I can see why I felt run down. I took way too much responsibility. It
was exhausting. I can see the flow-on effect your work is having on my Team, my Family and
my Friends and especially me, as I get compliments all the time. I love it. Thanking you
gratefully.” David Eastland, Pan Oasis – Wrought Iron Solutions.
“When I attended my first appointment with Mary I was a little reluctant in discussing my life
and apprehensive that anything Mary said could make it better. Mary came across as a caring
and understanding person who is there to assist me in making my own changes in life, which
enabled me to open up and show trust in her. Mary helped me see my problems in life
differently and like a light house guided me away from the rocks. I deeply appreciate
everything Mary has done for me”
Dean Newman, Graduate Studies Administrator, Curtin University of Technology
Mary is a wonderfully giving person. She has shown me such care and respect whilst guiding
me with my business. I was quite unfamiliar with the business world but Mary has introduced
me to it in the most positive, encouraging and professional way. Mary has taken time to listen
and get to know me. She continually acknowledges my achievements and sees my potential.
This gives me confidence in myself as a therapist and a business woman. I see Mary's style of
coaching as a very holistic approach that considers the entirety of you as a person. (I.e.:
Your spiritual, environmental, social, mental and physical relationships with the world). In this
way Mary is helping me develop my business in the best was possible for me and the people
I love. Thank-you Mary!
Alison Moran, Tranquil Ali – Therapeutic Massage
“Mary brings a terrific amount of energy and enthusiasm to her Clients. She is a very honest
person, and always holds the best outcome for her Clients as her most important driving force”
Ben Ingham, Health & Safety Manager, Oxiana Ltd

Mary I am so thankful for all that you have done for me. You made me BELIEVE. Meeting you
has been so life changing in so many ways. I now and forever will continue to use what I have
learnt in our sessions in the rest of my life’s journey. This is something I will always treasure and
be so thankful that I did to make my life richer. You’re a special person who will always be a
part of me. Thanks Mary. Ashlea Smith
“On behalf of the WA Division Committee of Management and WA members, I would like to thank
you for your inspiring presentation at the AIOP October Business Dinner held at the Citigate Perth
on Tuesday 21 October 2008. All members and guests who attended were impressed by your
passion, energy and enthusiasm. We could all relate to the ideas you presented on how to achieve
the optimum balance between our work and personal lives. From all in attendance at the October
Business Dinner, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you ongoing success as you build
your coaching business.”
Jenni Lumsden Australian Institute of Office Professionals President, WA DIVISION
“Mary has a great passion for people and for her work as a Coach and this is very evident in all
of her interactions. Mary invests a lot of energy and enthusiasm into life and this, along with
the high level of support she provides to others, is very beneficial for her Clients”
Margo Brewer, Lecturer & Clinical Coordinator, School of Psychology, Curtin Uni.
I wanted to send you a very big thank you for sharing so much of yourself and your experiences
with the AIOP group during this evening's presentation. I'm sure you have given not only
myself, but many women present, some valuable "food for thought" (for want of better
words). I can't imagine how difficult it must be to stand before a crowd of people you barely
know and share your private thoughts, feelings and experiences. You are truly an inspiring and
wonderful woman and it was quite amazing to hear of the events within your life that have
helped to shape and guide you in your choices. For me, as one of the younger attendees
present, I feel that through *AIOP I am afforded a rare opportunity to learn and gain insight
from the experiences of women such as yourself who exude intelligence, confidence,
beauty, compassion and brilliance - whilst still raising families, caring for parents and
partners, furthering their education or careers... and still finding the time to take dance
classes!
*Australian Institute of Office Proffessionals – Attendee at the Dinner
“Mary brings an enormous presence to the Coaching alliance. I think of her as larger than life.
She radiates energy and inspires confidence in a completely natural way. If I were asked to
think of a Coach who was trustworthy, inspirational, and committed to giving all she has to
offer, I would think of Mary”
Liz Denton, Management System Development, Technip Oceania
Dear Mary, Thank you again very much for speaking at the EA/PA Conference in Perth (on 28
May 2009), your participation added tremendous value. I highly appreciate your time and effort
at this successful event. On the day delegates filled out a feedback form based on their
experiences and opinion from your presentation, which allows them to give the speakers a
3
rating out of ten as well as ability to comment. The feedback from your presentation received a
fantastic nine out of ten, and comments made included - “Vibrant, entertaining and
informative”, “Longer session would have been good”, “Excellent – not enough time”, “Very
informative and inspiring – needed more time”, “Passionate and engaging, wonderful”, “Warm
and engaging personality”. This shows that your presentation was highly relevant and
informative to a range of experts, and your delivery was highly regarded. Again, thank you very
much for your participation and I appreciate all the time and effort that went into making your
presentation as fantastic it was. Please do not hesitate to call me for anything. It was very nice
to meet you and I hope to work with you again in the near future.
Carly Tang, Conference Coordinator, (Tonkin Corporation – Sydney)
"I recently had the pleasure of using Mary Argese's Life Coaching skills. Not only is Mary
delightful to know, but she has one of the most perceptive minds out there. She was able to
easily identify and home in on key aspects of the work we were doing. And here I was thinking I
was complicated! Mary is an extraordinarily good listener and explains things very clearly. I'd
thoroughly recommend Mary to anyone who is seeking to improve communications,
relationships, team-work, both personally and professionally. I'd be pleased to discuss further
should anyone wish to call me.” Philip Langley, Smart Marketing Strategies
Dear Mary, I would like to thank you for helping me in my journey in finding happiness and a
clear direction in my life. I look back in the beginning when I first started coaching with you. I
was lost, unhappy and found it difficult to deal with my former wife. Now I am more confident
and no longer putting up with the things that make me unhappy. This has empowered me and I
feel I have full control in how my life is unfolding. Your approach and coaching method has
made me feel secure and respected – the type of values I would expect from a true friend. It is
great to be around inspirational people like yourself, not only in your professional life but an
inspirational Parent also, well done. I would not hesitate to recommend your coaching services
to anyone in need of a life changing experience. Thanks once again  Kind Regards David Allen
Certainly Mary's coaching and style has assisted me in replenishing my self-esteem and
positiveness towards life! The confidence to create an environment which results in being
treated with respect from those persons who are most important to me. Mary's Coaching has
resulted in a greater understanding of my 'core values' and how important it is to take these
into consideration when making any life changing decision. Mary is a true lady whom I found
totally approachable which gave me the confidence to share my vulnerabilities allowing us to
create a plan of action to work on them. I would recommend Coaching Business Success to all
whom seem to be 'stuck' in one business or even personal matters. Mary has the ability to
modify her Coaching Business Success sessions to suit the needs of the individual. Margaret
Munro
“It is very difficult to say what a positive experience it has been in working with Mary Argese,
there are just too many good things to put down in a paragraph. Mary is such a wonderful
person, non-judgemental, educated and insightful; really able to focus and challenge you to
reach the best outcome for yourself. Mary’s approach to coaching is setting goals, reflecting on
4
success, considering one’s wellbeing and challenging my thinking worked really well for me.
Mary Has made a real difference to my personal and professional life and I am thankful that I
had the opportunity to work with her and would thoroughly recommend her to others.”
Paul Feasey, Brewery Manager, Lion Nathan, The Swan Brewery
When my husband was diagnosed with cancer in late 2011, we had clear plans for our life
together, his diagnosis and prognosis meant that our plans were dramatically changed and we
both finished work, to travel and spend as much time together as we could.
Unfortunately my husband passed away in 2013 aged 55.
After my husband’s death, I found myself without any clear direction in my life and simply
‘going through the motions’ on a day to day basis whilst handling the overwhelming sadness
and guilt as best I could and trying to be strong for those around me.
After about 4 months, I sought traditional counselling through my GP but after a few session, it
became clear that this was not the right approach for me. I needed more than being told
everything I was going through was normal and it was just a matter of time.
About 10 months after my husband passed away, Season Funerals sent an email advising of a
coaching service provided by Mary which would be able to help me in a number of areas
including providing the tools to enable me to establish some direction and goals and to come to
terms with a new ‘normal’ for my life. The timing couldn’t have been better, it was a
particularly difficult time for me and I called Mary immediately to book in.
The sessions with Mary were fortnightly and over 16 weeks. I was cynical but hopeful when I
arrived at the first session but when I left I was certain that this was going to help me get my
life on track.
The sessions provided a forum for clear future thinking whilst addressing situations and
emotions as they arose. Mary was friendly, empathetic and non-judgemental. She was also
very flexible and, if necessary, adjusted the planned sessions to discuss any specific issues
which may have occurred in the previous fortnight. Mary provided the forum and the tools to
help me deal with each situation as it arose.
The sessions provided me with the opportunity and the freedom to assess my life as a whole
and gave me permission to work through and to feel my emotions and to move forward with
life and begin to establish my new normal.
Whilst my sadness and grief is still with me every day, the coaching sessions have provided me
with the tools, strength, freedom and confidence to review what’s important to me and to
begin to make a future for myself with this in mind. My goals are still changing and developing
and I expect this to be an ongoing process.
In my opinion, anyone who has lost a loved one and is feeling ‘lost’ themselves or feeling that
their life has lost direction and is unable to sort through it themselves would benefit from these
sessions. Thank you very much Mary

She continually acknowledges my achievements and sees my potential. This gives me confidence in myself as a therapist and a business woman. I see Mary's style of coaching as a very holistic approach that considers the entirety of you as a person. (I.e.: Your spiritual, environmental, social, mental and physical relationships with the world). In this way Mary is helping me develop my business in the best was possible for me and the people I love. Thank-you Mary! Alison Moran, Tranquil Ali – Therapeutic Massage “Mary brings a terrific amount of energy and enthusiasm to her Clients. • 3. Mary I am so thankful for all that you have done for me. You made me BELIEVE. Meeting you has been so life changing in so many ways. I now and forever will continue to use what I have learnt in our sessions in the rest of my life’s journey. This is something I will always treasure and be so thankful that I did to make my life richer. You’re a special person who will always be a part of me. Thanks Mary. Ashlea Smith “On behalf of the WA Division Committee of Management and WA members, I would like to thank you for your inspiring presentation at the AIOP October Business Dinner held at the Citigate Perth on Tuesday 21 October 2008. All members and guests who attended were impressed by your passion, energy and enthusiasm. We could all relate to the ideas you presented on how to achieve the optimum balance between our work and personal lives. From all in attendance at the October Business Dinner, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you ongoing success as you build your coaching business.” Jenni Lumsden Australian Institute of Office Professionals President, WA DIVISION “Mary has a great passion for people and for her work as a Coach and this is very evident in all of her interactions. Mary invests a lot of energy and enthusiasm into life and this, along with the high level of support she provides to others, is very beneficial for her Clients” Margo Brewer, Lecturer & Clinical Coordinator, School of Psychology, Curtin Uni. I wanted to send you a very big thank you for sharing so much of yourself and your experiences with the AIOP group during this evening's presentation. I'm sure you have given not only myself, but many women present, some valuable "food for thought" (for want of better words). I can't imagine how difficult it must be to stand before a crowd of people you barely know and share your private thoughts, feelings and experiences. You are truly an inspiring and wonderful woman and it was quite amazing to hear of the events within your life that have helped to shape and guide you in your choices. For me, as one of the younger attendees present, I feel that through *AIOP I am afforded a rare opportunity to learn and gain insight from the experiences of women such as yourself who exude intelligence, confidence, beauty, compassion and brilliance - whilst still raising families, caring for parents and partners, furthering their education or careers... and still finding the time to take dance classes! *Australian Institute of Office Proffessionals – Attendee at the Dinner “Mary brings an enormous presence to the Coaching alliance. I think of her as larger than life. She radiates energy and inspires confidence in a completely natural way. If I were asked to think of a Coach who was trustworthy, inspirational, and committed to giving all she has to offer, I would think of Mary” Liz Denton, Management System Development, Technip Oceania Dear Mary, Thank you again very much for speaking at the EA/PA Conference in Perth (on 28 May 2009), your participation added tremendous value. I highly appreciate your time and effort at this successful event. Carly Tang, Conference Coordinator, (Tonkin Corporation – Sydney) "I recently had the pleasure of using Mary Argese's Life Coaching skills. Not only is Mary delightful to know, but she has one of the most perceptive minds out there. She was able to easily identify and home in on key aspects of the work we were doing. And here I was thinking I was complicated! Mary is an extraordinarily good listener and explains things very clearly. I'd thoroughly recommend Mary to anyone who is seeking to improve communications, relationships, team-work, both personally and professionally. I'd be pleased to discuss further should anyone wish to call me.” Philip Langley, Smart Marketing Strategies Dear Mary, I would like to thank you for helping me in my journey in finding happiness and a clear direction in my life. I look back in the beginning when I first started coaching with you. I was lost, unhappy and found it difficult to deal with my former wife. Now I am more confident and no longer putting up with the things that make me unhappy. This has empowered me and I feel I have full control in how my life is unfolding. Your approach and coaching method has made me feel secure and respected – the type of values I would expect from a true friend. It is great to be around inspirational people like yourself, not only in your professional life but an inspirational Parent also, well done. I would not hesitate to recommend your coaching services to anyone in need of a life changing experience. Thanks once again  Kind Regards David Allen Certainly Mary's coaching and style has assisted me in replenishing my self-esteem and positiveness towards life! The confidence to create an environment which results in being treated with respect from those persons who are most important to me. Mary's Coaching has resulted in a greater understanding of my 'core values' and how important it is to take these into consideration when making any life changing decision. Mary is a true lady whom I found totally approachable which gave me the confidence to share my vulnerabilities allowing us to create a plan of action to work on them. I would recommend Coaching Business Success to all whom seem to be 'stuck' in one business or even personal matters. Mary has the ability to modify her Coaching Business Success sessions to suit the needs of the individual. Margaret Munro “It is very difficult to say what a positive experience it has been in working with Mary Argese, there are just too many good things to put down in a paragraph. Mary is such a wonderful person, non-judgemental, educated and insightful; really able to focus and challenge you to reach the best outcome for yourself. Mary Has made a real difference to my personal and professional life and I am thankful that I had the opportunity to work with her and would thoroughly recommend her to others.” Paul Feasey, Brewery Manager, Lion Nathan, The Swan Brewery When my husband was diagnosed with cancer in late 2011, we had clear plans for our life together, his diagnosis and prognosis meant that our plans were dramatically changed and we both finished work, to travel and spend as much time together as we could. Unfortunately my husband passed away in 2013 aged 55. After my husband’s death, I found myself without any clear direction in my life and simply ‘going through the motions’ on a day to day basis whilst handling the overwhelming sadness and guilt as best I could and trying to be strong for those around me. After about 4 months, I sought traditional counselling through my GP but after a few session, it became clear that this was not the right approach for me. I needed more than being told everything I was going through was normal and it was just a matter of time. About 10 months after my husband passed away, Season Funerals sent an email advising of a coaching service provided by Mary which would be able to help me in a number of areas including providing the tools to enable me to establish some direction and goals and to come to terms with a new ‘normal’ for my life. The timing couldn’t have been better, it was a particularly difficult time for me and I called Mary immediately to book in. The sessions with Mary were fortnightly and over 16 weeks. I was cynical but hopeful when I arrived at the first session but when I left I was certain that this was going to help me get my life on track. The sessions provided a forum for clear future thinking whilst addressing situations and emotions as they arose. Mary was friendly, empathetic and non-judgemental. She was also very flexible and, if necessary, adjusted the planned sessions to discuss any specific issues which may have occurred in the previous fortnight. Mary provided the forum and the tools to help me deal with each situation as it arose. The sessions provided me with the opportunity and the freedom to assess my life as a whole and gave me permission to work through and to feel my emotions and to move forward with life and begin to establish my new normal. Whilst my sadness and grief is still with me every day, the coaching sessions have provided me with the tools, strength, freedom and confidence to review what’s important to me and to begin to make a future for myself with this in mind. My goals are still changing and developing and I expect this to be an ongoing process. In my opinion, anyone who has lost a loved one and is feeling ‘lost’ themselves or feeling that their life has lost direction and is unable to sort through it themselves would benefit from these sessions. Thank you very much Mary Suzanne 2014 (Undertook The Future from Today Workshops – Finding Peace in your Grief) 5
