I have been working for the Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq, a non-profit Tribal Council that provides programs and services to seven First Nations communities in Nova Scotia, for 13 years. As a member of the senior management team with a legal and a business background my daily activities include everything from managing programs and services, writing project proposals, drafting policy, appearing before boards and tribunals, writing legal opinions to researching the impact of legislative changes.
