4. According to an old
tradition , on the table
there are :
- boiled corns
- boiled beans
- dried fruit
- garlic
- honey
- nuts
- ritual bread
- stuffed peppers or
cabbage with rice
5. In the ritual bread there is a coin and who finds it will be
healthy and rich throughout the whole year.
The bread is broken into pieces :
- for God
- for every member
of the family
- and for all animals
It is a custom not to leave the table before every one has been fed !!!
6. After midnight Koledari ( boys up to 12 years ) go
around from house to house singing songs and
carrying health .
Hostesses give them buns , dried fruit , nuts and
candies.
