EXR. ROAD OUTSIDE COLLEGE - MORNING
Jay is shown walking to college on his first day by
himself. His face looks nervous and his body language
looks tense. He has headphones in and the students around
him are in groups of friends using special powers. Jay
sees a kid light a cigarette with his fingers out of the
corner of his eye and there is also people on flying bikes
and skateboards.
Jays phone starts vibrating in his jeans pocket. He pulls
out his hone to see that it is his mum
JAY
(V.O.)
Today was my first day of school
and i was really hoping that no
one would ask me what my power
was.
JAY
(Sighs)
Ah not again.
JAYS MUM
(Worried, Off screen)
Hello love, just checking your
alright
JAY
Yes mum i'm fine, you don't need
to keep checking up on me.
JAYS MUM
(relieved, Off screen)
Ok good, have a good day bye!
JAY

INT. CLASS ROOM - MORNING
Jay is shown sitting in the Classroom. The teacher has
told the students to go round in a circle and explain
their powers.
TEACHER
Max what is your power?
MAX
(sarcasticly )
Why do you care?
TEACHER
How dare you speak to me like
that, i asked you a question
therefore you will reply.

The boy sits there with a smerk on his face and refuses to
talk.
TEACHER
Well come on then...

(smiles)

The teacher stands there fuming

INT. CANTEEN - AFTERNOON
We are looking at Jay again whilst he is eating his packed
lunch. He is sitting on a table on his own. Everybody
finds him a bit wierd because he doesn't know what his
super power is
JAY
(V.O.)
This was the start of the weird
goings on at lunch time.
Everyday I would be sitting
eating my lunch. The n all of a
sudden someone would just
collapse and die, with no
explanation as to why it
happened.

A boy then collapses to the floor and makes a loud thump.
Everything in the room goes quite and Jay stares and stops
eating his food. Teacher start teleporting to the canteen
and keep popping up and out of mid air. Eveybody is
panicking.

(V.O.)
I had to find out what was
happening this was not just
random. Someone was
intentionally trying to do this.
JAY
(V.O.)
As soon as a kid would hit the
floor teachers would start
teleporting.

INT. LIBARY - A FEW DAYS LATER
Jay is searching through the book shelf,s in the library.

He comes to a book about leeching and draining powers. He
goes to get up and bumps into someone and drops the book.
JAY
(V.O.)
I headed to the library to see
if I could find out anything
related to these strange
situations.
TOM
(Surprised)
Oh I'm so sorry are you ok? Let
me get that for you.
JAY
Yes I'm fine thank you
Tom goes to hand him the book but stops for a second and
reads the title.
TOM
So it seams I'm not the only one
who is finding this whole thing
weird after all, am I right?
JAY
Yes I came to see if there was
any books on previous things
like this. I think someone must
be posing the food.
TOM
I was thinking the same thing.
I'm Tom, nice to meet you.
JAY
(Smiles)
I'm Jay.
They shake hands. As they do a spark goes through their
hands.
