 Maximize the productivity.
DIMENSION OF WORKFORCE DIVERSITY
The following are the dimensions of workforce
diversity.
 Primary dimension
 Secondary dimension
 Primary dimension: Mainly includes inborn
differences such as ethnicity, gender, physical
ability etc.
 Secondary dimension: Mainly includes education,
religion, believes, income, marital states, family
background etc.
WHY WE HAVE TO ACCEPT DIVERSITY?
 Diversity brings real benefits to society and
businesses.
 For a business, employing a diverse workforce
enables it to use a wider range of talents and skills.
 These talents and skills lead to creativity and
innovation.
HOW TO MANAGE DIVERSITY?
 Create an inclusive environment.
 Communicate commitment to all staff
 Involve all when designing the program.
 Avoid stereotyping.
 Respect affirmative action and EEO.
CONCLUSION:
 The beauties of nature come in a colours. The
strengths of humankind come in many forms. Every
human being is wonderfully unique. All of us
contribute in different ways. When we learn to
honor the difference, and appreciate the mix, We
find harmony.
