Matthew is an academic, writer and speaker known for his work on British and European politics. He is currently Professor of Politics at Rutherford College, University of Kent, and Senior Fellow at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House. He lives in London. Matthew is a political scientist by training. He holds a BA Hons (first-class), M.A. and PhD. He has published four books and dozens of research articles and policy reports.
