6. 1 in 5 US children under the age of 18 has an
emotional, behavioural or developmental problem.
1 in 4 US teenagers suffers from one or more of these
problems.

Dissolution of 2-parent family is a leading factor

7. 70% of young men in US prisons grew up without
fathers in their home
The children of single parents are 5 times more likely
to be poor and 2 times more likely to drop out of
school.
80% of adolescents in psychiatric hospitals come
from broken homes.

8. 3 out of 4 teenage suicides occur in households
where a parent (generally the father) has been
absent.
Children living apart from a biological parent are 20-
40% more vulnerable to illness.

9. Divorced fathers, on average, do poorly in financially
supporting & visiting children. The fathers of children
born out of wedlock are even worse… American men
see marriage and parenting as a package; when the
marriage breaks up, parenting deteriorates as well.

10. Today the fashionable idea is "human
rights," or "civil rights." That is a very
superficial idea actually. We are talking
about God's rights and human rights
equally…

11. …Human rights without God are worthless; God's
rights without man have nothing to do with the ideal.
We have to initiate a movement which can
demonstrate how we find our real dignity when we put
ourselves on an equal level with God. God's rights are
our rights.
