My role as a trainer is to help people make connections between what they already know (experience) and what they need to know (information) to be more effective in their job. If they can internalize the message and make it their own, that’s success! It sounds simple and it can be, but it requires the right kind of effort on the back end to have a smooth delivery. Whether it’s one-on-one, an online classroom, or lecturing to an audience of hundreds it’s about understanding their needs, having the right content, and presenting the message in ways that stick.
