First it was courses in LMSs, now it’s real performance support. Super customization can help, but it doesn’t get the core of helping people find the information they need to do their job as well as they can.

We have no idea if he can actually use the system, preform the support process, or explain the software. We’ve never used SCORM courses to train employees at Rustici Software, ever.
She spends half her time in an English only classroom and half of her time in a Spanish only classroom, learning all of the subjects. She natively speaks english. She leans heavily on technology to do her spanish math, reading, science, and writing homework. Mostly translation software. Her teacher sees the end result on worksheets and scores on quizzes, she sees her activity in the classroom to an extent but not enough for a good picture of how well her knowledge of spanish is developing compared to how well her understanding of the subject is developing. It’s the live equivalent of a scorm course. There’s too much summative and not enough formative.
