helplessness. When you want to change
something but you cannot, you feel hurt and
consequently express this frustration in the
form of anger.
Effects of Anger
Health problems
• Aches and pains, usually in
the back and head.
• High blood pressure, which
can, in severe cases, lead to
serious complaints such as
stroke or cardiac arrest.
• Sleep problems.
• Problems with digestion.
• Skin disorders.
• Reduced threshold for pain.
• Impaired immune system.
Psychological problems
• Depression
• Reduced self confidence.
• Eating disorders.
• Alcoholism.
• Substance abuse.
• Self-injury.
How anger effects at workplace
The workplace is an
environment likely to
provoke feelings of anger
and the consequences of
poorly manages anger in
the workplace can range
from increased turnover
and reduces productivity
to property damage and
physical injury or worse.

Anger Management is a term used to
describe the skills you need to recognize
that you, or someone else, is becoming
angry and take appropriate action to deal
with the situation in a positive way.

angered you, and make
your relationship strong
and healthy again.

Lightening up can help
diffuse tension. Use

angry and, possibly, any
unrealistic expectations
you have for how things
should go.
7. Laughter Yoga
• Laughter yoga (Hasyayoga) is a
practice involving prolonged
voluntary laughter. This type of yoga
is based on the belief that voluntary
laughter provides the same
physiological and psychological
benefits as spontaneous laughter.
• In the mid-1990s, laughter yoga was
practiced in the early mornings in
open parks, primarily by groups of
older people.
• Laughter yoga is found in 53
countries. There are about 5,000
Laughter Yoga clubs worldwide
Scientific Evidence
Laughter has been shown to decrease cortisol, the
body's stress hormone. When this hormone is
elevated it can cause issues like high blood
pressure, weight gain, and memory loss. It also
increases endorphins, which lowers pain in the
body. Yoga has been shown to decrease cortisol and
increase endorphins.
8. Change your Posture/Position
The physiological effects derived from changes in body
position are improvements and stabilization of blood
pressure, pulse and breathing rhythm.
Moreover, it results in psychological consciousness that as a
human being, one is weak. It is hoped that this awareness
will eliminate the sense of pride and arrogance that exists
in oneself.
Forget everything and recite this
“Anger comes from the Satan, and
the Satan was created from fire,
and fire is extinguished by water,
so if one of you gets angry, let him
perform Wudu (ablution).” (Abu
Dawud 4784).
