Of the five senses, smell is most closely linked to memory and emotions
• Olfactory memory is far more long-lasting than visual memory.
The loss rate of olfactory memory is 5%, whereas for visual memory it is 20%

to 4 000 scents.
• Of clients who do not usually frequent a given venue, twice as many
will enter when the venue is scented than when it is not (10% vs. 4%).
• Impulse purchases are 38% higher when the setting is scented
(survey by Berger, June 2005).
• Scents are a loyalty-building tool. In a scented setting, 84% of
clients say they will come back.
In conclusion, scenting a commercial space is vital to
loyalty building and customer acquisition strategies.
In practical terms, what are the actual effects of creating an olfactory
ambiance in the public areas of a hotel?
To answer these fundamental questions, we carried out some research
with customers at Novotel Zurich Airport.
Survey methodology
A questionnaire was left in each room of the hotel for a period of 30
days. During this period, Ôme diffused scents in public areas. During
this month of testing, the hotel lobby and bar were perfumed.

La Plaque
is a solid scent diffuser block. La Plaque is installed in your air conditioning system. It
diffuses its complex of fragrances slowly and constantly to guarantee uniform action
over a one-month period.
Format: A4
Weight: depending on the scent and aroma, the weight of the block ranges from 550g to 800g
Minimum concentrated perfume (75%) content: 200g/350g per block
Volume of air treated per block: 2,500m3
Storage: can be stored for 18 months in its original packaging, in a dry place at <25°C
Advantages: long-lasting, easy to install and maintain No electrical or mechanical connections are required when
installing La Plaque. Simply place in The Box, which can take up to five Plaques by block.

For treating large volumes via air conditioning systems. The holder can take up
to 5 Plaque blocks.

Le Galet
is a 100% biodegradable scent diffuser block. The Galet diffuses its complex of
fragrances slowly and constantly over a one-month period. The Galet has been
developed from milk proteins and is the perfect companion to all ecological
approaches.

Neutraluxe
is not a simple scent. Its unique composition of extremely long-lasting neutralising
agents is effective across a wide spectrum of odours. It neutralises unwanted odours
resulting from the degradation of organic matter, human odours, cigarette smoke and
cooking odours.
Our technology is based on oxidation-reduction reactions. The active molecules in
this odour neutraliser contact with the molecules responsible for the odour and
oxidise and "neutralise" them.
Usage: Neutraluxe is sprayed into the air in a location. It slowly releases its active ingredients in
contact with the air for long-lasting and practically complete neutralisation. Neutraluxe has a
pleasant olfactory signature. Continue treating until Neutraluxe can be detected in the air.
Pack sizes: 5l, 10l and 20l
Composition: 96% neutraliser in an aqueous base and 4% Provence perfume
Storage conditions: can be stored for one year in its original packaging, in a dark place at a
temperature not exceeding 25°C, or for 3 months in a usage setting.

Parfums de Provence - IFRA standard
The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) code of practice provides
standards for the safe use of certain fragrance components in consumer
products. There are 11 categories of end products, for which different limits
have been set for each substance used.
Essential oil chemotypes
This certification guarantees a botanically certified distilled plant, the
specific part of the plant distilled, a defined chemotype and high quality
steam distillation. It also guarantees a 100% natural essential oil which is
not denatured by synthetic components, oils, or mineral essences, 100%
pure, not diluted with other essential oils, fatty oils or alcohols, 100%
natural, not decoloured, not treated with peroxide, not treated to remove
terpenes and not rectified.
As you would expect, our products contain absolutely no traces of any substances
classified CMR 1 or 2 (Carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic). Our packaging contains
absolutely no traces of substances of very high concern (SVHC).
None of our products are considered dangerous under the European Union and
Council's 1999/45/EC classification directive, nor under regulation (EC) no. 1272/2008,
due to come into force over the coming years.
