VISHIE BEAUTY CENTER (VBC), needs a website to present the company online, projects,
ongoing activities, and to serve as a channel for potential investment. Furthermore, VISHIE
BEAUTY CENTER (VBC), needs a website that can be maintained by an VISHIE employee,
without the need to regularly employ APEN TECHNOLOGY to make changes. VBC employee
needs to be able to add and revise both text and videos and other aspects that require
management on the website.
The website is to serve as the online office of VISHIE BEAUTY CENTER, to increase the
company’s brand in the world, to attract new customers, and to give the company a modern
status. A flexible yet pleasing designed website with ability to deliver text, image, and video
content fast and seamlessly.

the logo and color palette so it will maintain a familiar look to current subscribers, but will at
the same time show them that VBC is improving its web presence in order to serve them
better.
APEN TECHNOLOGIES will provide a very efficient website or web platform with text, image,
and video content management. This platform will be able to allow the administrator to store
text, images, and videos in different categories, and by title for easy searching capability. The
platform will be easily navigated by different sharp and pleasant button links or by a very
effective search box.
Content Management System
Central to the new design from APEN TECHNOLOGIES will be a robust Content Management
System (CMS) that will allow VBC to make changes easily to the website, without requiring a
dedicated workstation or additional software. Not only will the CMS save VBC website
revision costs but it will also ensure that the website stays fresh and up to date.

These pages will be "hardwired" into the new design by APEN TECHNOLOGIES and links to
them will appear in the horizontal menu bar at the top of the page (below the logo and other
header content). On each of these pages, we will include a left-hand column that VBC can use
to create links to as many "subpages" as they wish. There fore, the CMS allows for as many
pages as necessary, without incurring additional cost beyond the original design and landing
pages fee.

6. Preliminary Design
Working in conjunction with VBC, APEN TECHNOLOGIES will provide VCB with a preliminary
design concept for the new website. That design concept will include the basic layout, color
palette, font choices, etc. VCB can at that point request one round of design revisions within
the scope of the Fee Schedule.
Detailed Implementation Plan
Development and implementation of this website will be carried out efficiently in the
following steps;

Re-evaluation of website need and specification
The website need assessment and specification document is necessary for the development of
the website and is the first step of the implementation plan and process. In this step, we will
discuss thoroughly and accurately with the client to get the full need for the website, if it
needs to connect to other systems, user interactions, and what exactly is the purpose of this
website.
Additionally, we will have sessions of discussions with the clients to come out and outline the
complete requirements and specifications of the site. Here we will outline information
concerning design, coloring, look and feel, response time, prospective number of visitors per
second and bandwidth needs. All the requirements gathered in this phase will be well
understood and agreed to by both the client and us. These requirements will be well
documented and termed the specification document. This is the document that will be used to
design the website and contain all the specifications and functionality of the website.
The website after completion will be tested against this document if it meets its requirements.
Content Gathering for the Website
This is the second phase of the development and implementation of the website. In this phase,
we will put together all the information that will be found on the website. Text will be drafted
as per the pages where it will be found. All media data that will be found on the site like
images and videos will be gathered and properly named and kept in a folder awaiting
redesign and retouch if necessary.
Design and Architecture of the Website
This is the third phase of the implementation process and involves design and architecture of
the website. In this phase we will redesign and clean all the images and videos available,
design new ones in relation to the need of the site if necessary. The next step in this phase will
7. be to determine how many main or landing pages will be found on the website, the names or
titles of this pages, the kind of information that goes to each of these landing pages, the sub-
pages that will be found under this landing pages, the information to be displayed on the sub-
pages, where each image is to be displayed and the accompanying text for each image. In this
phase we will also determine the general layout, the navigation,
and architecture of the site.
Also in this phase we will select the coloring of the site, the fonts to use, the technologies like
PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS and other needed technologies based on the need of
the website. The video and images will be treated with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator,
Maya, and any other needed software needed to provide good graphics.
Proper Implementation of Website based on Design and Architecture
This phase of the website implementation process will involve building the website with the
selected technologies from the previous steps, the content drafted and following the
specification document of the website. Here, we will come out with the structure of the
website properly, navigation, place text and images in the right positions, use the proper
coloring and fonts, connect all the landing and sub-pages, and make sure everything on the
website is found on the right position.
Testing and confirmation of Website Implementation with client
This phase of the website implementation process involves testing the website live on an
online hosting with the client and validating the quality and work-ability of the website. The
client will confirm if the website is of standard and if there are any other things that needs to
be added or removed from the website. If there are any complications or worries about the
website, it will be addressed in this phase.
Domain name registration and Hosting of website
This is the last stage of the website implementation process, and involves putting the
developed website online. In this stage, domain name of the website will be bought and
configured. The website hosting account will be bought and configured, and attached to the
domain name servers
After the above is done, the website will be hosted using the FTP account created in the
hosting account, the database created with MySQL in the hosting account. In this phase, the
email accounts will be configured and created for all staffs in the organization and allowance
created to add unlimited number of email accounts.
Training
APENTECH will then run a two-hour training session with VCB employees, showing them how
to use the website. This can be done on site or online. This will enable the employees or
administrators of VCB to efficiently manage the website for it to better serve the institution.
8. Launch
When finished incorporating all the content VCB wish to have at launch, APENTECH will move
the website from the development sub-directory to the main root level of the domain, thereby
making the site go live.
Time line of project
The time line of this project 1 to 2 weeks assuming the basic content about the institution is
available.
