BABY TEETH
• Children will Develop 20 Primary Teeth
• Starting Around 6 months until around age 3
• The age of eruption varies, even within the same family
11. A. TEETHING CONCERNS
Teething can include the following symptoms:
• Excessive Drooling
• Changes in Sleeping Patterns
• Pain with Gum Tenderness
Never assume teething is the cause of illness.
Oral analgesics and chilled teething rings may help
alleviate symptoms
13. A. CHILDREN NORMALLY LOSE THEIR
FIRST TOOTH BETWEEN AGES 5-7 YRS.

• The lower two front teeth are normally the first to go.
• Sometimes the permanent teeth will grow in behind these to baby teeth. Ask your
dentist about this.
